Titi, Giovanni and Theresa were great. They were very knowledgeable and took great care of us. Given the size of Pompeii having an expiered guide is a must.
Great day, super hot and we had our very young children with us. Francisco, Andrea and Renato made it easy and enjoyable, and we definitely wouldn’t have been able to manage to see as much without them.
This was overall an excellent way to spend a day outside of Naples—would venture to suggest just skipping Naples altogether (or just doing a quick day tour there) in favor of visiting Pompeii and Vesuvius! We learned so much from the archaeological guide, lunch was on a beautiful hillside overlooking the bay with fresh local food, and the hike/view from Vesuvius was amazing! A couple notes: 1. Chase Travel booked this for us and we never got clear info about when we were being picked up so we almost missed the bus! Our guide was friendly but did not really talk to us until everyone was picked up, which took about an hour in Naples traffic. So that was a bit of an awkward time. 2. The Vesuvius hike was NOT guided. They basically drop you off at the base of the trail and give you 2 hours. The trail is mostly sandy gravel/crushed lava rock and almost constant incline so is not good for those with mobility issues or unsteady on their feet/out of shape. The good thing is you can go as far as you want. Took us about 40 min to get to the top of the cone. The views are well worth it!!
This tour was a nice way to see both Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. The tour guide for Pompeii was amazing and very knowledgeable. After Pompeii was lunch at a restaurant where the food was good and included a lot. Then we went to Mt. Vesuvius and hiked up at our own pace. The tour with pick up/drop off makes it easier than figuring out the public transportation. It was also nice having a guide for Pompeii or else I wouldn’t really know what I was looking at specifically.
We traveled to Pompeii and Vesuvius tour with our guide Titi and driver Giovanni. It was a highly professional tour, and we had a good time. Everything was ok, Titi is amazing as well as Teresa who showed us around Pompeii. She told us everything there is to know about the ruins and made it sound interesting. We would go again with the same people, they are our first choice for the next tours. We highly recommend!
Best way to spend your day at Pompeii and Vesuvius! Claudia and Vittorio were exceptional seeing to all our needs. The guided tour through Pompeii was entertaining and informative. The lunch was delicious and just what we needed before climbing Vesuvius which was no joke., but the views were spectacular. All in all a highlight to our trip. Thank you Claudia!!
Great full day tour of Pompei and Vesuvio with lunch at a delicious restaurant in between. Our guides Salvatore and Pasquale were very helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend. Bring lots of water and I wouldn’t suggest bringing small infants especially in hot weather.
We had a lovely experience to Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius with World Tours. Our Tour Leader Marco was amazing, he was very helpful and made sure the itinerary ran smoothly. He was also very understanding with my friend’s travel sickness, making sure she had a seat at the front of the mini bus to help her feel comfortable. Francis was a great driver who got us to each stop on time with no difficulty. Diana our guide in Pompeii was great, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. Overall a great day, I’d recommend to use World Tours! Especially if you get Marco as your Tour Leader, thank you!

Felicia was an amazing guide, she was very competent and provided all the details professionally, yet was she kind and friendly and willing to help in any case. Graziano was a safe driver, got us into places on time and safely.
