Pompeji og Herculaneum Dagstur fra Napoli med frokost

Denne heldagstur på verdensarvstederne Pompeji og Herculaneum begynder med en afhentning i Napoli og en bustransfer til ruinerne af Pompeji. Der vil være en tour assistent på bussen under denne del af turen. Ved ankomsten til Pompeji vil du udforske ruinerne i omkring 2 timer. Opdag traditionerne og dagligdagen for de gamle indbyggere i Pompeji. Du vil se den store teater, nekropolis, termiske bade, og nogle af de fantastiske huse, der var ejet af de rigeste beboere. Nyd en inkluderet lys frokost på en lokal restaurant. Efter frokosten tager du til Herculaneum, hvor du får mulighed for at udforske ruinerne på egen hånd. Det er muligt at observere befolkningens daglige liv her endnu mere detaljeret end i Pompeji, da det mudder og vulkanske skrald, der dækkede byen, bevarede strukturerne og artefakterne fra Herculaneum.

Efter den sidste afhentning kører vi fra Napoli centrum til Pompeji arkæologiske park
På tidspunktet for det dramatiske udbrud havde Pompeji omkring 11.000 indbyggere, mens Herculaneum havde en befolkning på omkring 5.000 mennesker. En række kejsere og aristokrater havde deres ferievillaer i disse byer. En dag, i 79 e.Kr., begravede flere meter aske hele området i løbet af få timer. Århundreder senere, i 1748, under Bourbons-regeringen, startede udgravningsarbejdet. Opdagelsen blev mødt med entusiasme, da den tilføjede stor rigdom til kongeriget og inspirerede neoklassicismens bevægelse i Europa. I dag er ruinerne af Pompeji blandt de mest besøgte arkæologiske steder i verden, mens Herculaneum er fornyet for sin Villa dei Papiri, der indeholder et bibliotek med over 1800 papyrusser. Besøg af udgravningerne (ca. 2 timer) og hvis tiden tillader det også af en koral- og cameosfabrik for at beundre produktionsproceduren udført af eksperthåndværkere

Efter frokost i en lokal restaurant. Om eftermiddagen kører du mod ruinerne af Herculaneum.
Efter besøget i Herculaneum vender du tilbage til Napoli samme sted som om morgenen.

This day was a good experience that we could recommend to you. The visit to Pompeii with our French-speaking guide was great (group of approx. 25 people), although 2 hours only allows you to visit a small part of the city, the locations were well chosen. Despite the lack of a French-speaking guide on-site at Herculaneum, our organizer guide Christianno was top-notch and did his best to find the solution that would suit us best! The only downside of the day: the meal. At the restaurant only 3 dish choices (margherita, schnitzel and frozen fries or pasta with tomato sauce) no choice for the appetizer or dessert, it's salad and vanilla ice cream. Few choices but it does the trick for a snack.

The tour was too slow. First of all, they changed our time. Later we understood why. From one group in English and other in Spanish, they made just one. The explanations from guides were too slow, and they repeated all twice, in Spanish and in English. This is a torture under this sun and heat. It was a moment I decided to go by myself and it was the best idea. Maria, the old lady in Ercolano, missed many points. My family stayed with her and they missed the best parts. I could see more things because I did it by myself. Also, it was a french family that had nothing in french. I had to help them with the translation. At the end they went also by theirselves. A shame. I will not recommend at all this tour.
