En dag fyldt med duften af kaffe vil være vores belønning, når vi besøger den største kaffeplantage i Costa Rica, kendt som Hacienda Doka-ejendommen, der ligger på skråningerne af Poas-vulkanen. At besøge denne Doka kaffeplantage vil give dig mulighed for at lære alt om processen og god praksis relateret til denne afgrøde, såvel som på vores rundtur i kaffefarmen vil vi observere dens maskineri og opdage trin for trin af frøspiring til den første dyrkning af planterne, plantens udviklingsproces og frem til høsten af det modne korn, vil vi også lære om gårdens historie, produktionen og varianterne af kaffeplanter, områdets geografi og den traditionelle måde at når du dyrker kaffebønnen, er det meget vigtigt at bemærke, at det at være i det naturlige og kulturelle miljø på denne kaffeplantage vil give dig lyst til at nyde en udsøgt kop kaffe, mens du spiser en udsøgt typisk costaricansk morgenmad.
Vi vil gå til den smukke POAS VOLCANO, hvis hovedattraktion er, at den kan nås til kanten af den. Ikke alene har det et af de største kratere i verden, men det er placeret i de bjergrige skove i den centrale vulkanske bjergkæde, og vi vil være i stand til at lære af gasudstrålingen, økosystemet og vegetationen. På vejen til vulkanen vil du være i stand til at bemærke dens forskellige mikroklimaer og den store mangfoldighed af landbrug, vi vil være i stand til at observere en stor variation af plantager og kvægbrug samtidig med, at vi vil have en spektakulær udsigt over Central Dal. Og lagunen i dens krater vil efterlade os forelsket i ønsket om at vende tilbage. Det komplette ophold i Poas Volcano National Park vil vare cirka 50 minutter, som er fordelt på: 10 minutter i den indledende tale, og information, 10 minutters gang til udsigtspunktet for vulkankrateret, 20 minutters fast permanenthed i udsigtspunktet og en anden 10 minutter på vej tilbage til transport parkeringspladsen.

Zero stars The company cancelled the tour on my and my dad without informing me. I was waiting for the bus to come to pick me up in the hotel lobby for 30 minutes When I call the company they say they can not do the tour today Tgis unprofessional behavior wasted my day And has tarnished my impression
I really enjoy the whole plan. Totally worth it. I joined a group of 5 people from different countries. It was a great experience. The only thing I didn't like was the driving from our driver. He kept pushing the gas and revving the car the whole way up (hours) in a very unnecessary way (without shifting gears). This caused dizziness for some of us. But still give them 5 starts.
Delicious breakfast at Doka Coffee, nice drive to the Poás crater. Keep in mind that you can not always see these due to the clouds at altitude sometimes. And the impressive La Paz waterfalls were the max! Definitely recommended.
What an amazing day! It was a long one but worth every minute of it. The coffee plantation was beautiful, had a wonderful breakfast, and included lots of information. Although you don’t always get a clear view of the volcano the walk is still beautiful. I didn’t see in the description that we were visiting a wildlife refuge but that included lunch and a chance to see some other animals. The waterfalls are gorgeous but so involve a few steps.
Our tour guide Fila was extremely knowledgeable. He has great knowledge on both Costa Rican history and facts as well as the different animals we seen. Try and book with Fila. He was great
The tour operator informed me of the cancellation far too late. I received the cancellation notice at 9:00 PM the night before the tour. By that time, I was already preparing to go to bed, so I did not see the message until the next morning. They should have informed customers much earlier. In addition, I had sent a message through the chat asking about the meeting time for the next day, but my question was completely ignored. I found this tour company to be unprofessional and disrespectful, and I would not recommend them.
This was a great experience. Our tour guide who was also our driver was amazing and very knowledgeable. The food was great and various coffee samples and snacks throughout the day. Would definitely recommend.
Great experience!!! Fila, our guide, was very knowledgeable and kept us on a tight schedule. I can't believe we got to see a volcano up close. We also enjoyed our time at the coffee plantation and the Peace Falls. The scenery was amazing. I'd recommend this for anyone interested in nature and who enjoys that great outdoors.
Excellent tour! A full day of much knowledge and adventures. Our guide Filander made sure to explain everything about Costa Rica and that we felt safe throughout the tour.
Filander was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and informative. He was very patient and eager to answer our questions. He told us about many hidden gems of costa rica and places to eat and see. It shows how passionate he is and how much he enjoys sharing his wisdom. I was picked up on time from my hotel around 6:15 am. We drove to the coffee plantation where he walked us through the farm. We had an excellent breakfast and then drove to poas volcano. It was foggy with no visibility when we reached. He told us to visit the lagoon since he knew it was clear and knew the crater would clear out by the time we returned. He was right on spot and we saw the gorgeous views with full visibility. We then drove to waterfall garden where we saw different wildlife. We finished off with the 5 stunning waterfalls before we started our drive back to our hotels. Filander explained us about different plants, flowers insects, animals. Overall he had an amazing knowledge about everything. He even provided great options of other tours that I could take and how to book them. Overall It was a great day. Absolutely worth doing for someone visiting Costa Rica.
