Mødested, hvor du vil høre en introduktion om Slovenien og Piran. Den vigtigste plads i byen i dag plejede at være en havn, og vi vil fortælle dig, hvorfor der ikke er noget hav derinde længere.
Du vil høre en interessant legende om et hus i venetiansk gotisk stil, som er en af de smukkeste historiske bygninger i byen.
700 år gammelt kloster, som ikke altid er muligt at besøge, men vi vil gøre vores bedste for at vise dig rundt.
Vi vil se murene på afstand og beskrive hvilket formål med forsvaret det havde for at beskytte byen.
Panoramaudsigt fra toppen af bakken er fantastisk, hvis vejret er klart vil du se 3 lande fra 1 sted.
Hjertet af byen, hvor den største vandforsyning til beboerne var i fortiden. I dag er en meget livlig del af byen med nogle gode madmuligheder, som du også vil prøve sammen med nogle lokale vine.

Great evening! Jan was the perfect informative host mixing the right amount of knowledge of the history and culture of Piran with humour. The tasting of local wines/ olive oils/ cheese/ hams/ sausage was generous and tasty. Would definitely recommend.
Jan was a great tour guide! Showed us the sights of Piran and then we had a lovely food and wine tasting :) really worthwhile tour!!

Great tour of Piran well worth doing you learn lots of details about how Piran evolved .Tasting was also very interesting gives you a chance to chat with a local and also meet other travelers
This tour was absolutely delightful! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable (and passionate!) about Piran. We were able to learn about the history of the town while taking in the sites. The tour included a tasting which was absolutely wonderful. We got to sample 11 different olive oils, various truffles, meat, as well as wine. The tasting was done at an adorable shop right in the heart of Piran. The best part was we were able to come back the next day and purchase our favorite products! I cannot recommend this tour enough if you visiting Piran!
The Taste of Piran tour was amazing - it gave a brilliant overview of the towns history and main sites, walking through the gorgeous tiny streets. The wine and food tasting afterwards was a lovely insight into some local businesses and culture - the black truffle and olive paste and the goats cheese were my favourite! Jan was a brilliant tour guide, super friendly and insightful and gave some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We tried out his dinner recommendation of Ivo after the tour which was excellent and would definitely go again! We though the tour was definitely great value for money and would recommend to anyone wanting an insight into Piran!!
Thoroughly enjoyed the walking part and listening to our guides stories. The wine, olive oil and truffle tasting was very informative and our guide made it fun. I’d highly recommend this tour and it’s great value for money.
