Denne vandretur forbinder to af de højeste tinder på Madeira. Dette er en fantastisk rute, som inkluderer tunneler og nogle sektioner med stejle op- og nedkørsler, og som tilbyder en fantastisk udsigt over øens centrale massiv. Det er også muligt at observere forskellige fugle, hvoraf nogle er unikke for Makaronesien, såsom safranfinke (Serinus canaria), pampaspiber (Anthus berthelottii madeirensis) og hvidvinget sejler (Apus unicolor). Nær Pico Ruivo-shelteret finder du PR 1.2-stien, som fører til Achada do Teixeira. Ved Achada do Teixeira er det muligt at se den basaltlignende klippeformation kendt som "Stående Mand", der ligger på nedkørslen efter at have passeret Achada do Teixeira-lyet.

Pico do Arieiro Pike, 1818 meter høj, er det tredje højeste topmøde på øen Madeira. Det anbefales stærkt at klatre hele vejen op til toppen af dette bjerg for at nyde den fantastiske skønhed af vulkanske landskab og dens vidunderlige udsigt.
Dette er så godt som det bliver! Denne tur vil give dig et mere komplet billede af den ægte skønhed på denne ø. Stenformationer synes at have lyst til at nå himlen som kæmpe skulpturer. Gennem hele turen er udsigten simpelthen betagende.

A nice hike done with guide Sergio who explained everything step by step. My fitness wasn't great but with each climb we took a rest so everyone could come along, even me. Have a nice day.

The only one with tickets included! Very good guides, really some breaks so also for non athletic people is good

The tour was really beautiful; we had the best weather, so we had a wonderful view. We were picked up directly at the hotel, which was very convenient. Sergio, our guide, always walked at the back so that no one could get lost and everyone could walk at their own pace.

The guide an tour were brilliant can't fault them at all was a good day out the summits are well worth the visit the only downside was a large section of pr1 is closed but that's not the tour operators fault

Already, namely the trail that joins the 2 summits is closed, the hike can not be done ... you just do the Pico Ruivo (same way out / back) then by van we leave on Pico Ariero, moreover we did the excursion in the rain and clouds so we saw nothing at all in terms of landscapes! This excursion should have been cancelled in my opinion because apart from if you are passionate about intense hiking , there was no point in walking in the cold and rain on arduous paths! I would not recommend it at all! Luckily thanks to Viator for allowing us compensation for this horrible day...
