Phuket til Railay Beach ved Ao Nang Princess Ferry

Everything went as advertised. Hotel pick up was 5 minutes late but friendly staff. Staff on very also helpful. Snacks on ferry were a little expensive.

Not particularly well organised, prior to boarding, infact rather haphazard. Had to cross over to reach our ferry boat, passing over heavy luggage too. The boat seating below decks were cramped, and the cabin smelt strong of fuel oil. life jackets were available on the back of each seat. Seating great in the upper cabin was the same but smelt less of enging oil. Again life jackets were on the back of each seat,no safety card or instructions given in the event of an emergency. Although I formed where we cod purchase coffee/water etc. Having g arrived i Ai Nang, had to board another boat, boat to boat style. Thankfully the luggage was passed over for us. Arrived at Railay beach, to get off on a ver long pontoon apx 1/4 mile at a guess, made of plastic square segments, Incredibly difficult to pull your luggage along, no assistance available each person for themselves at this point.

Amazing experience, super easy to get to my destination and the staff were very helpful making sure I made the ferry connection. Really appreciated the hotel pick. Made navigating to my next destination stress free. Would highly recommend

Picked up from hotel on time straight to port journey excellent. Booked via Viator who kept us informed by what’s app and email. Would defo book with them again

Everything was very smooth, no complaints. Pick up at hotel according to information the day before.

The trip over was in a boat with most of its windows broken and being held together by opaque film, so you couldn’t see out. You had to stand on the deck to take in the view. When we arrived at Railay Bay, we were transferred to long tail boats. Both my husband and l attempted to grab our suitcases to take with us but we were stopped by the crew, who said they would load all the bags onto a long tail boat for us. We were relieved, as it would’ve been very difficult to move a heavy suitcase from the big boat onto a very rocky long tail boat. The big boat then left with all our luggage and the luggage of several other travellers. The people on the jetty then berated us for not taking our luggage. We explained that the crew stopped us from taking it. We were then told to return to the jetty at 3pm to collect our bags. We were quite concerned as our bags contained our passports and some important medication. When we returned to the jetty at 3pm, we were further berated by staff for not taking our bags off the boat and we were then told that the boat would not be returning until the next morning. It was then that all hell broke out with people yelling and arguing. Suddenly the jetty workers were able to get the boat to come to the jetty in under 10 minutes. Our luggage was finally returned 4 hours after we arrived. If you enjoy stress and being abused for following instructions from the tour operators, then l recommend this trip.

I had to get to Railay Beach from Phuket and there were limited options. We were picked up from our hotel very early by the tour company, taken to a ferry terminal, boarded a boat and 90mins later we were on Railay. The tour company handled all luggage movements for guests which was very helpful. The tour company provided a great service for reasonable price.

Ferry was easy and pleasant. Left on time and crew very good they very helpful and booking was easy .loved it

Ferry ride was mostly uneventful. We rode inside so did not see a lot on the way, but approach to Railay Beach was beautiful. Surprise at the end though as you need to transfer to a long boat for landing there. So wear pants and shoes you don’t mind getting wet as you’ll have to wade ashore in shallow water. They will keep your suitcases dry though.

Can arrived early so make sure you are ready on time. Pretty seamless experience. Van picked up, taken to pier, get on ferry, get to railway with no problems. Using the long tail boat from the ferry to the beach was an experience, but they helped me with my luggage which was greatly appreciated since I am six months pregnant.
