Karon Viewpoint er et af de mest frekvente synspunkter i Phuket. Herfra er det muligt at tage udsigt til Kata Noi, Kata Yai og Karon strande.
Fra vindmølle synspunkt, under de svingende rotorblade, der genererer elektricitet til området (dets officielle navn er 'Phromthep Alternative Energy Station'), kan du få øje på søtransport, der strækker sig fra langhalebåde med deres lange ombyggede lastbilmotorer til fiskerbåde på vej ud i Andaman, til olietankskibe og endda mega-store krydstogtskibe, der kommer fra og går tilbage til Singapore. Flydende ting Windmill Viewpoint er også et mødested for modelfly-entusiaster samt hangglidingstyper, der kører tropiske termaler, og til sidst kommer til en yndefuld landing ved Nai Harn Beach. Langt over og nogle gange parallelt med bakken glider Brahminy drager og havørnene glædeligt forbi. Du kan blive tilgivet for at tro, at med al denne luftbårne aktivitet Windmill Viewpoint er et overfyldt sted: Det er alt andet end for det meste fordi der er meget lidt parkeringsplads. Alligevel er det ikke kun et premium solnedgangspunkt; det er også et hele dagen attraktivt sted med havet især azurblå ved middagstid.
Promthep Cape er en af øens mest fotograferede og måske mest kendte steder. Hver aften fejrer store tourbusser, scootere og private biler gennem Rawai Beach og op på øens sydligste bakke for at se solnedgangen på sit højdepunkt. På toppen af bakken står en travl parkeringsplads, hvor køretøjer disgorge folkemængder fra alle verdenshjørner.
(åbner igen fra marts 2026) Phukets store Buddha er en af de vigtigste og ærede vartegn på øen. Det enorme billede sidder på toppen af Nakkerd Hills mellem Chalong og Kata og, 45 meter højt, kan ses fra så langt væk som Phuket Town og Karon Beach. Den ophøjede site tilbyder den bedste 360 graders udsigt over øen, med omfattende udsigt over Phuket Town, Kata, Karon, Chalong Bay og mere. Relativt let tilgængelige via en svingende 6 km vej, der fører fra Phukets vigtigste arterielle rute, er det et must-besøg ø destination.
Wats - eller buddhistiske templer - er blandt Thailands vigtigste symboler, dels fordi de fleste thailandere er buddhistiske og dels fordi de er så smukke. I Phuket alene er der 29 buddhistiske templer spredt rundt om øen. Wat Chalong har været en varm velkomst til besøgende i over et århundrede. Lokalbefolkningen kommer til at bede, og vesterlændinge kommer til at lære noget om buddhismen.
I modsætning til mange thailandske provinsielle hovedstæder skinner Phuket by med personlighed og intet mere end dens gamle bydel. I denne historisk rige del af byen finder du helligdomme, templer (buddhistiske og kinesiske), udsmykkede og smukt bevarede 'shophouses', hyggelige caféer, små trykkerier, improviserede private og offentlige museer og endda et mini-ex-rødt lysområde. Phuket Old Town blev bygget på rigdom høste fra Phuket's tinboom fra forrige århundrede, da metallet var en yderst værdifuld vare. I dette kvartal af byen vil du se grandiose kinesisk-koloniale palæer, engang besat af Phuket's tin barons for 100 år siden. Den gamle bydel i Phuket er kompakt nok til at gå rundt i. Den bedste tid til at gøre dette er tidligt om morgenen, eller efter at dagen har mistet sin varme.
Khao Rang Hill er en af Phuket mest berømte synspunkter. Beliggende til nordvest for byens centrum, dets topmøde byder på udsigt ud over byen, syd for øen, naboøerne og langs bakkerne der danner "ryggen" på øen, hvorfra den imponerende Phuket Big Buddha ligger. Med en pænt anlagt park med legeplads, tre restauranter og barer, en fitness park og en panoramisk terrasse - bygget i 2014 - officielt synspunkt status for Khao Rangs topmøde, er stedet attraktivt og giver sine besøgende et frisk pust i hovedstaden i Phuket Island.
Banzaan Market er hjernebarn af en velkendt Phuket familie, der forsøgte at tilbyde kunderne en alternativ oplevelse bortset fra at besøge et typisk lokalt marked. Ordet 'banzaan' betyder frisk marked i Hokkien, en kinesisk dialekt populær blandt mange oversøiske kinesiske samfund i hele Sydøstasien.

We did a city tour in Phuket City today and overall the experience was underwhelming. The guide mainly drove us from place to place and only spoke when we asked direct questions. We expected a more informative, engaging, and lively tour, especially given this was a guided experience. At the end of the tour, we asked to be taken to a massage place and were brought to Mookda Spa, which felt like a tourist trap and not something we would recommend. It gave the impression that the stop may have been commission-based rather than chosen for quality or value. Overall, the tour did not meet our expectations.

This was a nice tour, hit all the stops on the itinerary except the Bazaar. We didn’t get so much history about Phuket. We were the only ones on the tour which was a little od. Halfway through the guide picked up his wife who couldn’t speak English. Once he picked her up - he stayed sleeping in the car while she took us around. When it was lunch, we offered to pay for (and did) their lunch and he still asked for a tip at the end.
It was just the 2 of us on this tour, but wongsak boonkong our tour guide was excellent, he took us to all of the attractions as stated on Tripadvisor! Being a local his knowledge of the area was exceptional, also because it was just the two of us, we asked him to join us for lunch which was very special. Highly recommended and 🙏🙏 Soon!

No-one showed up to take me on the tour. They told me that they were 20 minutes late and that I wasn’t there. I waited almost an hour but they were a no show and they did not answer their phone the day before so that I could confirm pick up or the day of the tour. We tried to contact them at least 6 times.
Dear Lynette Bishop, You put Australian phone number in your booking and we tried to contact with you by WhatsApp and have sent you messages, but didn’t get a respond. Also we have sent all pick up details trough Viator chat. The driver with a guide was late for 20 min and we informed about that when hotel staff called to us, but when guide come to you hotel they didn’t find you there. Anyway, we had issued a full refund for this booking. We are sorry that this experience was unsuccessful and wish you only successful experiences in the future.
Lots of seeing and doing. Very extensive and for that money you really can't complain. Seen monkeys and can pet elephant. Only not nice that we are the only Dutchman in a full bus with Russians and therefore got no explanation. Also very strange that you don't get lunch when it ends around 3:30 pm

Was an amazing tour apart from stopping to feed the baby elephant that was in a really small cage. We didn't know this was part of the tour. If we were aware of this, would never have booked this tour. Also, the tour is advertised as English Speaking tour guide but our tour was 95% in Russian which neither myself nor my partner speak or understand. This tour should be advertised as Russian Speaking and not English Speaking! The tour guide gave us a very brief description at the first couple of stops, but after that it was just to tell us how long we have at the stop!

We booked through trip advisor using reviews which we thought sounded better than those you can book in patong town. Once all 4 other pick ups were completed in the morning, we soon found we were the only British ones on the tour, everyone else was Russian including the tour guide. Despite this, we were ensured that we would still be included by the tour guide providing the information first to us then in Russian. On multiple occasions, we were bypassed and not spoken to by the guide therefore missing parts. Most of the trip, the tour guide was more interested in his own personal phone than the job he was being paid for! The very worst part of this is experience was the surprise we were told about half way through.. we stopped at a side road to ‘feed and meet Bella’. Bella was an alone elephant cornered into a tiny enclosure marked off with scaffold poles, commanded to complete the same 4 poses for the tourist paying 100baht for a bowl of food. THIS WAS NOT WHAT WE BOOKED OR SPECIFIED ON TRIP ADVISOR BOOKING INFORMATION. We are not tourist who exploit such beautiful creatures so we were beyond furious. Secondly, the tour felt very rushed. No lunch was included which we understood but we were given no time to find anything to eat despite it being an all day trip. We therefore wasted our time at Phuket old town finding a quite bite to eat, meaning we saw little of the famous walking street at all. As previously stated, this was meant to be an all day trip yet we were back by 3pm at the latest, with the tour guide being home at 2 as he was dropped off before we were even back in patong! (Perhaps that’s not part of his job but we haven’t had that on the other trips!) Combining the parts of the trips which were not included in the booking information along with the feeling we were just constantly getting in and out of the mini bus all day, I would not recommend with this company. However I would recommend the trip to big Buddha, Buddhist temple and the viewpoints

It is a half day tour. Visited Karon beach. Took pictures of Kata beach and View Point. Took pictures of rawai. Spectular views the beach are crystal clear. Went to Chalong Temple visited the Buda. Went to the nut factory. Also visited a gem factory and saw a video of how gems are made. Passed through phuket Town and saw the old town. It is a good trip to see lovely beachs

Tour was great, there were only 4 of us in total and they still went ahead with the day. Tour guide was very informative and took lots of photos for us. Good way to see lots of Phuket and main attractions.
