Tag ind i den smukke Arizona Sonoran ørken som aldrig før! Flydende 2.000 - 5.000 fod over ørkenen i en varmluftballon, 360 graders uhindret udsigt og fredelig flyvning er betagende. Efter din 45 - 60 minutters varmluftballon flyvning, gæsterne behandles til kølet champagne og catered måltid i hjertet af ørkenen, den perfekte start på dagen. - Komfortabel afslappet tøj anbefales altid på vores ballooning udflugter, da vi nyder naturen i en ørken miljø. Temperaturen i ballonen er omtrent den samme som på jorden, så sørg for at klæde sig passende til dagens forventede temperaturer. På en given dag anbefaler vi lukkede tæer sko, en lys jakke, solcreme, en hat, solbriller og en kamera
- For at sikre en sikker varmluftballonoplevelse, kan passagerer ikke være gravide på flyvetiden, eller har haft nylig kirurgi eller knoglebrud, og bør være i stand til at stå i løbet af flyvningen (ca. 60 minutter). Man skal være i stand til at hoppe fra det andet trin af en stige og være i god generel sundhed. Alle passagerer skal udfylde en ansvarsfraskrivelse inden turen.
- Den samlede tur tid er 3 - 4 timer, hvis møde på vores check-in sted eller 4 - 5 timer, hvis du bruger vores tur og retur hotel transporttjenester. Den samlede turtid omfatter dine overførsler til vores ørken lanceringssted, visningen af ballonens inflation, den cirka 45 - 60 minutters varmluftballontur, bobler og bid efter flyvningen, samt præsentationen af mindesmærkeflyvningscertifikater til at tage hjem.
- Vores ture finder sted i Sonoran-ørkenen, og naturen sørger desværre ikke for et toilet. Vores lancerings- og landingssteder varierer fra dag til dag afhængigt af vindene, typisk i afsidesliggende dele af ørkenen. Selvom der normalt er masser af træer og buske, er der ingen toiletartikler til rådighed under din tur, så sørg for at udnytte toilettet før flyvningen!
- Selvom vi har de mest flyvende dage om året overalt i landet, kan dårligt vejr ske. Af denne grund anbefaler vi altid at reservere din ballooning udflugt tidligt i dit ophold, så du har alternative datoer for din flyvning i tilfælde af dårligt vejr på den valgte flyvningsdato. I tilfælde af en vejr aflysning er der ingen gebyrer for dig, og du kan omplanlægge efter din bekvemmelighed, eller annullere din booking helt.

Having to wake up very early to drive to the airport, to then drive to the balloon location in a bumpy van with no talking or any kind of entertainment was dull. We were then told to wait in the van while the pilot evaluated the weather. We were not upset about the flight canceling due to the weather, but there was no communication. I’m in aviation and saw the cells and looked over the TAF.. it was forecasted to be higher winds. We waited for an hour in the van.. with no other conversation from the pilot or driver.. and then told it was canceled due to the winds. If there had been some sort of communication and even if the driver talked and asked questions it would have been a pleasant experience. To then drive back another 45 minutes… I wouldn’t book with you guys again to be honest.. not trying to be mean.. but I’d rather it be an entire event from start to finish.
Fun exercise. Felt totally safe. The only thing you need tobbe prepared for is the amount of heat that is used to fly the hot air ballon I would suggest wearing a hat .I would definetly use this company again

Booked this for my girlfriend’s. Our balloon ride got cancelled for weather, which I get, but they waited until our exact scheduled pickup time to tell us. They had to have known beforehand since they’d have needed to already be on their way to pick us up, so there’s no reason they couldn’t have told us sooner. Because of that timing we’d already checked out of our hotel and ended up with nowhere to stay, and they weren’t able to help when we called. Weather happens, but waiting until the last second to tell us something they already knew was not okay
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry for the last minute cancellation of your hot air balloon ride. Safety is always our highest priority, and because hot air ballooning is entirely weather dependent, our FAA-licensed pilots continuously monitor conditions up until launch. On the morning of your flight, we notified all passengers as soon as our pilots determined that conditions were not safe to fly. At that point, your driver was already en route for your scheduled pickup. We can absolutely understand how frustrating it must have been to receive the cancellation notice after you had already checked out of your hotel, and we appreciate you sharing that perspective. While weather decisions sometimes must be made later than we would like due to everchanging conditions, we've shared your feedback with our piloting team to provide as much notice as possible, whenever possible. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this caused and appreciate your understanding that safety must always come first.
Breathtaking views. The guides was kind and informative. Food and champagne was a fun bonus. Really cool experience!

As advertised, do look for the company’s email ,Viator is a little out of the look on correct information; location close but about 1/8 mile in opposite direction.The food is not from the advertised restaurant.A lot of Costco items ,but it was all their the set up ,transportation and crew were all there ,tough to hear driver in van ride ,but most likely didn’t miss much .Highly recommend the company,

The overall experience was really good, from the initial pickup meeting all the way to the balloon landing. However, the pilot was quite rude when verifying our vouchers at the end of the adventure. After booking the experience through Groupon and receiving a booking confirmation from Hot Air Expeditions, I had already marked my vouchers as "used." Because of this, the voucher numbers were no longer visible. The pilot became unnecessarily rude when asking for them, which was a disappointing end to a great trip.

Book your adventure early in the week because we were canceled, because of wind,on the day we scheduled, but were able to squeeze it in on the next day. Our Pilot Tommy was amazing. Very professional and also fun. He took time to make sure we were comfortable & felt safe. This was an incredible ride…so peaceful and beautiful! The breakfast was delicious and they even accommodated me with a gluten-free muffin. The basket was a little tough to get in and out of, but I did it even with a bad knee and one knee replacement. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
