Turen til Peles og Cantacuzino slotte omfatter skønhed og historie i ét. Peles er Europas første elektrificerede slot med alle moderne forsyninger inklusive centralvarme, rindende varmt og koldt vand, centralstøvsuger, en elektrisk elevator og meget mere allerede fra begyndelsen af det 20. århundrede. Cantacuzino Slot var sommerhjemmet for en velkendt politiker fra det 19. århundrede Grigore Cantacuzino. Han plejede at være en af de rigeste mænd i Rumænien på det tidspunkt og besluttede at bygge dette autentiske monument med et betagende panorama til Bucegi-bjergene. Slottet bygget i nyrumænsk arkitektonisk stil er omgivet af gyder og stier, der fører til springvand, vandfald og små huler.

Kør fra Brasov til SInaia ca. 50 minutter. Det ekspansive Peleș-slot i bayersk stil blev bygget i en frodig skov for at huse Rumæniens kongelige i det 19. århundrede og er blandt de smukkeste i Europa. En guide vil føre dig gennem mange af dets pletfri, udsmykkede værelser, der stadig er udsmykket med frodige møbler og indretning. Sinaia-klosteret, der ligger i Sinaia, i Prahova-amtet, Rumænien, blev grundlagt af prins Mihail Cantacuzino i 1695 og opkaldt efter det store Saint Catherine's Monastery på Sinai-bjerget i Egypten. Fra 2005 er det beboet af 13 kristne ortodokse munke ledet af hegumen Macarie Boguș. Det er en del af Bukarest ærkebispedømmet. Den Gamle Kirke blev bygget i 1695. I 2006 blev den lukket for at påbegynde et restaureringsprojekt for at bringe den tilbage til sin tidligere skønhed. Det originale interiørmaleri blev færdiggjort af Pârvu Mutu og blev restaureret for første gang i 1795. Den Gamle Kirke er genåbnet fra 2016. Frokostpause ca 30-45 minutter.
Kørsel til Busteni ca. 20 minutter. Cantacuzino Slot fik en helt ny stemning i den nye "Wednesday"-serie. Cantacuzino Slot fra Busteni blev bygget og indviet i 1911 efter ønske fra prins Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino (også kendt som "Nabob" - Rumæniens premierminister mellem 1899-1900 og 1904-1907). Slottet, der er bygget i nyrumænsk stil, er omgivet af en park, som fører dig til grotten, vandfaldene og springvandene. Receptionshallen rummer en unik samling af heraldik i Rumænien. Bygningen lavet af mursten og sten strækker sig over en overflade på 3148 kvm. Dekorationerne giver interiøret en stærk romantisk stemning. Pejsene lavet af hvide sten og bærende polykrome mosaikker fuldender atmosfæren af en herregård, hvilket øger bygningens værdi. Slottet har en unik samling, der repræsenterer Boyar-familiernes våbenskjold, der er relateret til Cantacuzino-familiemedlemmerne fra den valachiske side. Kør tilbage til Brasov ca. 40 - 50 minutter.

In your trip to Transylvania, you MUST go to Peles! Pictures cannot capture the opulence and beauty. This tour is the perfect way to see it. Peles is definitely the highlight of the day and you spend most of the time there, but it's really nice to have the other activities (Sinaia monastery and Cantacuzino) as supporting events. Our guide was absolutely perfect, super organized, incredibly knowledgeable, and ready to adapt to wherever our interests lie. He got us into the castle the moment the doors opened, and we could spend as long as we wanted there. It was a great balance to the day. The communication and logistics were excellent. This is a very smooth and easy tour where all you have to do is enjoy the sights! I highly highly recommend this tour!!!!

I had a great day on my tour to visit Peles and Cantacuzino castles. Being the slow season for tourism I was concerned they wouldn’t have the tour if no one else signed up, however they did and I was really appreciative because I really wanted to see the castles and I was leaving the next day. The company was very communicative and helpful with information. The tour guide Tiberiu was extremely nice and full of so much historical information. It was not only such a beautiful trip seeing the land and castles but made for a really valuable lesson in Romanian history. The castles are stunning and the land around them as well. Highly recommend this company for tours and when I come back to visit I will definitely book more through them. Thank you so much!

We had a great tour to the two castles. Our guide Charlie picked us up on time at the hotel and guided us through the two castles. He gave us a lot of information, also on other topics that interested us. Charlie is a super nice and fun guide. We'll be back!

We visited on a Sunday and there were crowds at the castle sites so we were glad to have Dan as our guide. He was most helpful in explaining the complexities of the royal families and indeed the shifting complexities of the nationalities in the Balkans

The tour was completely insatiable, with a guide named Charlie having extensive knowledge of history and castle details. He was such a wonderful guide. It is possible to see the castle alone, but it is definitely better to have a guide. It was super efficient, especially if Kantakouzino Castle was to be incorporated. I couldn't stop wondering what the rooms were for in the castle and how they were decorated. I went to five or 60 rooms in Perez Castle alone and he explained everything in detail. There were large groups of people on tour, but the small number of people on this tour allowed us to ask almost one-on-one questions and they did us a favor. I asked him to arrange a visit to the Château de Périchore and he was happy to include it. The time I got back to Brașov was just right at 15:30, and when I said I wanted to go home, he took me straight to the Brașov ropeway boarding area. Everything is in English, so even Japanese people who understand English somewhat are definitely recommended

Amazing trip, could not have been luckier with Dan as our tour guide. He was very professional and made everything interesting and fun. Would highly recommend. If we would change anything we would maybe skip Cantacuzino castle, but everything else was very interesting to see.
