Beskrivelse
Besøg en af de smukkeste øer på nordkysten. Paradise Island byder dig velkommen med turkisvand, hvidt sand og farverigt rev. Besøg Monte Cristi National Park, hvor du kan udforske mangrove-junglen og se det lokale vilde liv. Efter at have været hentet fra dit hotel i Puerto Plata, Sosua eller Cabarete, skal du tage til Punta Rucia og nyde den fantastiske udsigt over de dejlige Dominikanske landskaber. Her skal du klatre ombord på en hurtigbåd, der fører dig til Cayo Arena (det lokale navn på Paradise Island) Ved ankomsten til øen vil du blive hilst velkommen af turkise farvande og hvidt sand. Gå i land for at solbade og udforske eller tage en guidet snorkletur, hvor du vil se en række tropiske fisk og koraller. Nyd et udvalg af friske frugter og drikkevarer, der serveres på øen. Før frokost skal du tage en hurtigbådtur gennem mangroverne. På vej tilbage stopper vi ved et lokalt marked.

Ved Playa Ensenada venter Speed Boat med at tage dig til Paradise Island
Cayo Arena, det lokale navn på Paradise Island. Her får du frisk frugt og drikkevarer. Snorkeludstyret leveres og en guidet snorkletur. Efter besøget på Paradise Island går du gennem mangroverne med Speed Boat.
I Punta Rucia serveres en typisk Dominikansk frokost.
På vejen tilbage gør vi et stop ved et lokalt marked, efter markedet fortsætter vi tilbage til dit hotel.

We were taken care of upon our arrival at the hotel and were able to make the reservation easily. It was reassuring because we were taken care of. Superb excursion to take!

The team that drove us on land and sea were great! They made sure everyone had a good time. Matthias was incredible. He was conscientious of my 7 year old daughter and my wife. I so appreciated him. The island swimming and snorkeling was amazing. To top it off through the Mangroves. Trip is worth it!!!
Ours was a different tour, with pigs instead of mangrove, but island part and natural pool is same, vips were on boat for first part then we took a speed boat to see pigs. Paradise Island didn't live up to name. It is small, packed full of people, boats constantly coming and going. It is protected so only thing that can touch the sand is your feet, all bags and such have to hang in cabana. Not sure if it is always rough, but very hard to swim with waves constantly pushing you around, even the few fish you see in water are having trouble swimming straight. We were on a catamaran but i was expecting the big sailboat with the cargo net in front. Nope only ones I saw down here were solid hull motor driven. Experience was nowhere near what you would find in cuba or Puerto Rico which we have done previous years around same time. There was a stop in a natural reef pool which was nice. If you have nothing to compare the whole trip to you will like it.
Hello, this review has nothing to do with our excursion. We don’t visit pigs and we don’t go by catamaran. We are going by speed boat to Cayo Arena so we can go through the mangroves after the island. Kind regards
This was the highlight of our trip. We chose the VIP tour which included a larger boat with snacks and drinks and lobster for lunch. Worth the extra money! The natural pool and Paradise island were amazing. Great swimming and snorkeling. It was the best tour with everything provided. Staff were great! I wish I could have gone again, but it was a 2-hour trip from our hotel.

Thank you for leaving a review. The street conditions vary here in Dominican Republic, when you get out from the highway the roads are not always in great conditions. On the way back there is a stop at local indoor market.
We did 4 excursions on this vacation and this was the best one. The snorkeling at the island is great. The food and drinks were great. We did some of the mangroves slowly learning about them and the wildlife, then we did a neat speed boat trim through some of them. The transport is a bit long from Peurto Plata, but well worth it.

What an amazing experience! Our guide and driver were very knowledgeable and helpful. The drive through the Mangroves was really fun. The island is a true paradise. The snorkeling was fantastic. I would recommend 100% to anyone who wants to have a good day
The drive to get to Paradise island was about 2 and half hours long but Matias and Emanuel kept us entertained all the way.
The ocean was crystal clear and warm! It stopped raining for the time we were there and we got to see so many fish and a stingray! Worth the money! Mendy was a great guide
