Begynd turen i Barranco, Limas mest boheme forstad. Vi vil se Barrancos Central Park, dets kommunale bibliotek, den traditionelle sukebro, de koloniale hjem og dens berømte boulevard. Derefter kører vi ned ad den sydlige stillehavskystvej til Pachacamac, det vigtigste ceremoniecenter i den peruanske kyst i tiden før Inka og Inka. Gennem århundreder blev Pachacamac besat af mange forskellige andinske civilisationer, såsom limas, wari's, Ichma'erne og endelig af Inka-imperiet. Pachacamac Oracle forblev dog altid et religiøst centrum. Vi vil se flere pyramidale templer og indhegninger fra forskellige tidsperioder: Adobitos & Old Temple (I CAD), det malede tempel (VIII CAD), en pyramide med en rampe (XIII CAD) og Temple of the Sun (XV CAD) . Udover ruinerne besøger vi også et on-site museum, der viser keramik, tekstiler, shell og sten ornamenter, samt træ Pachacamac idol fundet under udgravninger (1938)

Diverse experience with a walking tour of Barranco area of Lima which gave us an insight into the diversity and artistic cultural aspects of this beautiful area. The trip out to Pachacamac was also fascinating and quite awe inspiring to understand how the site has been excavated and to gain knowledge of how these early races lived, created the temple and other areas of the and how they worshipped their gods. Our guide and driver were both knowledgeable and respectful of the location.

This is such a massive site that the vehicle takes everyone to different areas. Seeing the construction from different periods and people's id very informative.

The best tour we've had in Lima, Excellent guide with brilliant English and very informatitive in local knowledge and history, well rounded tour seeing the highlights of the area.
