Oplev charmen af Oxford og dens historiske pubber på denne lille gruppe guidet aftenvandring. Start ved Tap Social Bar i The Covered Market, nyd den livlige atmosfære og lækre madmuligheder, før du møder din guide. Gå en tur langs Broad Street til den berømte Turf Tavern, hvor du kan nyde en gratis halvpint af øl, mens du nyder den lokale historie. Fortsæt til Bear Inn, en af de ældste pubber i verden, og hør fængslende historier, mens du nyder en anden runde. Vi starter turen ved baren i Market tap. Men jeg vil anbefale at besøge markedet på forhånd for at tage et kig rundt og nyde noget mad fra nogle af de store street food stil leverandører. Jeg vil anbefale pizza af Satorellis, eller hvis du føler virkelig britisk, Pie and Mash fra Pieminister!
Vi vil gå langs Broad Street for at se Sheldonian Theatre, Bridge of Sighs og Blackwell's Bookshop. Også placeret på Broad Street er Balliol og Trinity kollegier.
Vi vil stoppe ved denne historiske pub for en hurtig halve liter cask ale, mens vi diskuterer alle ting øl og Oxford historie
Vi går ned ad den skjulte indgang til Turf, en af Oxfords mest berømte pubber for 'en uddannelse i beruselse'. Her vil vi høre om pubens historie, og det er klientel fortid og nutid!
Vi går til næste pub via det mest imponerende sted i Oxford, Radcliffe Square. Hjem til Radcliffe Camera, Bodliean Library, All Souls College og St Mary's Church.
Dernæst besøger vi The Bear Inn, en sand Oxford perle - indhyllet i århundreder af historie, tæt knyttet atmosfære og en dejligt excentrisk atmosfære.
Kun en kort gåtur fra Bear, vores sidste stop er en mindre kendt, men fantastisk lokal pub med over 20 lokale ales. Et must-besøg for cask-ale elskere! Bemærk venligst, at der er masser af forskellige muligheder, så afhængigt af dine præferencer kan vi beslutte at besøge en anden pub, hvis du vil!

Booked this tour during my first visit to Oxford, Will is extremely friendly and has great knowledge of the history of the place. It was a fun afternoon, and helped us discover some hidden gems around the city. Would highly recommend!

Me and my family had a great time exploring oxford and its pubs on this tour. My parents dont speak English very well and Will made them feel very welcome and made sure we had a good time. We also wanted to see Christchurch so Will incorporated that in to the route. The pubs were fun and Will gave us lots of recommendations for Oxford and the Cotswolds for the rest of our trip. This tour was very enjoyable - we had a relaxing stroll through Oxford, visiting a few historic alehouses along the way. We passed lots of lovely historic places like Blackwell's bookshop and Bridge of Sighs with plenty of time for taking photos 😊 Will escorted us back to the Randolph, happy after drinking in the sights (and ales!) of Oxford. What could be nicer than that - thanks Will!

We really enjoyed this tour. It was provided by Will who told us lots about the individual colleges and the historical pubs and took us to parts of Oxford that we would not have found on our own. He was extremely flexible about adapting the tour to what we were particularly interested in. A very enjoyable afternoon.

Our guide, Will, was excellent. Great balance between history of Oxford, the various points of interests and the local pubs. Visited 3 pubs, all of which had very interesting histories and excellent beers! Would definitely recommend this tour!

My friends and I decided to book this tour as we were in Oxford for the weekend and this seemed to hit the nail on the head for sightseeing and drinks at the same time! We learned loads from Will, had some great laughs, and discovered some fantastic pubs along the way. A really fun and memorable experience—highly recommended!
