Rome Transfer

Mia Limo is an excellent transport company. Our driver Antonio was waiting outside the cruise terminal at the Civitavecchia cruise port with a sign with our name right on time as we needed. He was in a suit and tie that speaks for his professional service. We would hire Mia Limo and Matteo Peterlini the next time we visit Rome.

Rome to Civitavecchia cruise transfer

We booked a transfer from Rome to Civitavecchia Port for our MSC cruise and it was a very good experience. The driver arrived on time at our hotel in Rome and the trip to the cruise port was smooth and comfortable. What we really appreciated is that we were dropped off right under the ship, very close to the MSC cruise terminal, which made everything much easier with the luggage. Overall a reliable and easy Rome to Civitavecchia cruise transfer. I would definitely recommend this service before boarding your cruise. 🚢

Fiumicino Airport pickup and transfer to Civitavecchia Port

We had a pickup at Fiumicino Airport and booked a short tour of Rome before going to Civitavecchia Cruise Port. It turned out to be a really good choice before boarding our ship. The driver was friendly and showed us some beautiful places in Rome and helped us take a few photos. We also stopped near the Trevi Fountain for a quick breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. After the city tour we had a smooth transfer to Civitavecchia Port and arrived before lunch with plenty of time for the cruise check-in at the cruise terminal. Everything was relaxed and well organized. Very convenient service if you arrive at the airport and want to see a little bit of Rome before heading to the cruise port. Highly recommended.

Late pick up and broken credit card machine

I scheduled a pick up from the Civitavecchia Port to the FCO (Rome) airport for a flight that was tight. The driver was late from the designated time. Furthermore, upon arrival he indicated in Italian that his credit card machine was broken. I used Google translate to tell him I did not have the cash and that the service had my credit card on file and asked him to call the office. He insisted that I go into the airport with him and use one of those ripoff ATMs to take out Euros to pay him. With the ATM fees and bad exchange rate, it cost me 28% more. This all took valuable time and I ended up missing my flight.

do not recommend

We PREPAID FOR THESE TRANSFERS TO BE THERE...got off the ship and the driver was already gone. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. We ended up on a shared transfer and had to pay another $400 for the transfer we already paid for.

These people should stay home because of their ignorance towards those who work and those who travel. We emailed two weeks before the service, no response. We emailed the day before the service, no response. We left from Rome, put in diesel and paid for the highway, and drove 200 km to get from Rome and back. The appointment was at 7:00 in the morning. We sent a WhatsApp message, no response, we made about 5 calls, no response. After about 40 minutes, having 50 other reservations, out of respect for those who booked and for the agreed terms (no show after 15 minutes), our driver left without still no response. After an hour and 20 minutes, Mrs. Tina pretended that the driver was still there waiting in vain without knowing anything and jeopardizing subsequent services. Rude, with no morals and no respect for anyone. We have documented everything with photos on our cell phones.

Run! The worst!

Terrible—driver dropped us off at wrong port despite booking and confirming location. Worst experience we’ve ever had with a company. Poor communication with Julia as well via email.

In this case, two nearly identical negative reviews were posted on the same day by a couple, clearly using separate accounts — a detail that should at least raise concerns. Now, to clarify the facts: ✅ The booking was confirmed for 12:00 PM from Rome to the Port of Civitavecchia. Despite handling over 70 services that day, our driver managed to arrive 45 minutes early. ✅ As we always do, to avoid confusion, the driver asked clearly for the name of the cruise ship. All passengers confirmed the ship name out loud. Upon arrival at the port, security control asked again for the ship’s name. And finally, the name of the ship is visibly marked in large letters at the boarding area, making it impossible to miss. ✅ Only after being dropped off at the ship they had confirmed, did the clients realize it was the wrong one — not due to our error, but because they themselves did not know the actual name of their ship, confusing the cruise line Royal Caribbean with the name of the vessel. ❌ Instead of taking the free shuttle offered inside the port to the correct terminal, they decided to pay for a taxi and then blamed us for their own mistake, threatening to leave negative reviews — which they did, twice, for the same service. Anyone wishing to verify the facts can check the official ship schedule for that day, which confirms that two Royal Caribbean ships were docked, each with a different name — a detail these clients still appear to misunderstand. After 18 years of honest and professional service, with thousands of satisfied travelers, this is one of the very few negative experiences we’ve encountered — and we address it openly, with full transparency, trust in our work, and respect for the rest of our guests. Never use

Zero stars! Flight was delayed more than two hours and couldn’t rebook me and charged me full rate with no ride. In additional, driver dropped off at the wrong port terminal for cruise ship and just left. Would never recommend and zero stars.

Round-Trip from Civitavecchia with City Tour of Rome

We were docking in Civitavecchia for one day during our cruise and booked a round-trip transfer and city tour with Rome Airport Transportation. From start to finish, everything was smooth and professional. Our driver picked us up on time from the port with a luxurious, air-conditioned vehicle. We toured all the main attractions of Rome — the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Vatican, and more — all with comfortable stops and time to walk around. Our driver was not only a great professional, but also acted like a guide, sharing interesting facts about each site. At the end of the day, he brought us back to the port with time to spare. It was the perfect way to see Rome in one day!

A Horrible experience

A HORRIBLE experience. When we booked this, we asked for a large car as we had 2 suitcases and my father's walker. The car that came fit everything tightly. The driver was less than friendly and threw a sissy fit when I tried to show him how to make things fit. The drive was in silence as he talked on the phone the 50 minute drive. I will never use this company, nor will I EVER recommend it to anyone. I would have rather taken a taxi!

Our goal is always to provide a high-quality and safe service. In this case, the reservation made was for a sedan suitable for two people with two large suitcases. However, upon arrival, our driver found additional items and medical needs that had not been communicated in advance, including two small suitcases, a walker, and a wheelchair, as well as two elderly individuals, one of whom had nasal tubes and a bag. This necessitated the use of the rear seats for the luggage, forcing one person to sit in the front. During the journey, our driver noticed that one of the individuals was bleeding and, after consulting with us, decided to continue to the destination upon their insistence. Once we arrived, the vehicle required immediate cleaning and sanitization, costing us 200 euros and causing us to lose other bookings. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and understand the difficulties associated with health situations. However, to ensure the safety and comfort of all our passengers and to comply with road safety regulations, we strongly recommend booking vehicles suitable for specific needs, such as ambulances or equipped vans, even if they may incur higher costs. Your review serves as an important reminder for all our customers about the necessity of clearly communicating any special needs at the time of booking, allowing us to provide the best possible service and ensure everyone's safety.
