Ouzoud Waterfalls Dagstur med bådtur og valgfri frokost

Mohammed and Mouhsen gave us a nice tour of everything in the area of the ouzoud waterfalls and a nice boat ride

Super experience, very complete. To do. An amazing guide (Younes), very invested in each member of the group and in everyone's language, children as well as adults. He took care of everyone: checked in with the children whom he designated as guides, gave his arm to a person the whole descent to help them, answered our questions, helped us approach the monkeys... This excursion contained everything necessary (monkeys, shopping stops, discovery and refreshments, boat), only the meal is extra but the guide accompanies us to a restaurant no more expensive than what one finds in the excursions already included. I highly recommend it. And in the middle of a heatwave, it's a place that brings coolness with the river and the walk under the olive trees. Be careful, you still need closed-toe shoes and should avoid having trouble going down or up, on the dirt or the stairs; 2 people in my group did it (one with a crutch and the other in flip-flops and a bit elderly) but it wasn't easy for them. Very beautiful day, I recommend it.

Must visit if you have a spare day and you are staying in Marrakech. It's 3 hours going, 3 hours spending time there, and 3 hours journey back. Also if you go during hot season. July, August. There will be AC in the vehicle, but it's nothing powerful like in Europe. You will sweat in the vehicle, so bring a spraying mist handheld fan, maybe earphones if you don't fancy listening to local music. If you didn't add lunch, your guide will take to a specific restaurant, it's set menu, we were not told, so priced per person ordered. Set menu includes, bread, salad, chips, main dish, kebab, tajin, etc, then dessert fruit and tea, we were charged 130dh per person. If you go toilet you will be pushed to pay something to the person cleaning the area. Overall, go if you have an extra day.

This was a great experience. The waterfalls are really spectacular. The boat up to the waterfall is great - this only lasts maybe 10-15 mins, just takes you to the edge of the splash zone for photos. You learn a bit of history about the area and its people. The macaques are adorable. You can buy peanuts for 20D and hand feed them. You get a little bit of hassle to buy more at this stage but not too bad. The lunch is decent. Be aware, the travel is about 2hr each way from Marrakesh in a good quality safe vehicle. The walk to and from the falls is quite hard. I was a bit breathless at the end. Memorable experience. Mouhsine was our guide and was knowledgeable and looked after us.

The waterfall is magnificent, a place to find peace. Brahim is an excellent guide, as well as the driver Mohamed, very friendly and always ready to help us 😃

It was a very good experience. Our guide took great care of our kids, brought them to the front, and even let them feed the monkeys, which they absolutely loved. The ride from Marrakech was quite long, but the bus was air-conditioned and comfortable, so the journey was pleasant. Thank you for the great time!
