Fantastic!! Great for solo and groups. Chef Alex was fantastic and taught us so much any French food!
Loved this tour with Chef Alex and the small fun group that gathered from around the world. We enjoyed learning about French food and culture and were all surprised to find something new to eat (and enjoy) that we had never tried before. What a great way to spend an afternoon in Paris! Merci!
I was disappointed with this wine and cheese tasting experience and did not feel it delivered value for the price. The wine selections were served very sparingly, and there was little to no explanation about the wines themselves—their origins, tasting notes, pairings, or what made them unique. For a guided tasting, I expected much more education and engagement. The cheese portions were also extremely limited, making it difficult to properly enjoy or compare the pairings. The advertised market visit was particularly underwhelming, consisting of little more than a single strawberry and a piece of chocolate, which felt more like a token stop than a meaningful experience. While Chef Alex was pleasant, the presentation remained fairly surface-level and never went beyond basic information. There was little storytelling, expertise, or effort to create a memorable culinary experience. Overall, the event fell short of expectations and was not worth the investment. I left feeling that the experience lacked both substance and value compared to other wine and food tastings I have attended.
Explanations were good and well-founded, cheese and wine were described very well, and we were introduced to the French way of life.
Delightful. Entertaining! Informative! Our first evening in Paris. A fitting way to start our stay. Perfect!
A delightful way to, as Chef Alex, says "learn what it means to be French" when enjoying great food, wine and company!
Great experience. It was fun. We learned a lot, laughed together and enjoyed some wine and cheese. I would recommend this tour
This was a lovely tour. Alex provided a lot of details and history. The cheeses and wines we tasted were amazing. Definitely recommend this tour.
A great history overview of food and wine. We enjoyed Chef Alex and his tour of the Latin Quarter. Would go again!
We enjoyed our time with Chef Alex waling through the fresh bread, vegetables, cheese, fish and wine shops of the latin quarter before sitting down to an evening of wine, cheese and baguettes. Delightful time kept in good humor and conversation with Alex. He clearly knew his wines, cheeses, breads, and many culinary activities.
