Loved this cooking classes! We got to go to the supermarket and we made everything homemade! I didn’t think I was going to like it but everything was enjoyable! I now have to have my miso soup homemade now lol!

The cooking class with Tony was the highlight of our trip to Japan. Tony met us with a smile and a relaxed vibe. He took us to a local supermarket to buy our ingredients for lunch and took us through popular food and drink enjoyed by him and other locals. Tony also took us to a local shrine, explained the culture. We made an offering and said a prayer. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. Enjoying some music, my husband and I did a sake tasting. Tony explained the differences with the types of sake and we did a blind tasting! The food was absolutely delicious and Tony was an excellent teacher! We could have hung out with Tony all day. Thank you so much Tony for a wonderful experience that our family will fondly remember for a long time. I can't recommend this class and Tony enough. i can't wait to try and make the recipes at home. Thank you!

Niko is such a treasure! We learned so many things while we toured the market to gather our supplies, cooked amazing food together, and had a blast joking and exchanging stories the entire time. We made okonomiyaki, gyoza, and nikusui; everything was fantastic and was very easy to learn with such a wonderful teacher. Niko made us feel so at home in Osaka, so much so that she is our Osaka Okan Niko! I've never felt more welcomed in a new place than after meeting Niko, she truly makes you feel like part of her family. The only thing you should consider is which day works best for your schedule, you can't miss this experience.

We had a really great time with our guide Kiyomi where we shopped for ingredients and cooked together and got loads of infos about japanese cooking & culture. We enjoyed every minute of it and would definitely do it again.

We had an an absolute blast at this tour! Yuka was AMAZING. She is so kind and made the experience so special. She taught us so much about Japan and its culture, and she accommodated our dietary restrictions with no problem at all. This was a trip highlight for sure!

This is one of the best experiences that my husband and I signed up for while in Japan. Emi was such a delight! I highly recommend learning from the pro, Emi - We were lucky to learn a bunch of tips, fun facts, and cooking techniques from her.
