Mixed feelings about this cruise, and I can't really compare it to others in the bay. On the plus side: a beautiful, comfortable and very clean boat — though I'm still not sure what's "Trendy" about it, it all felt quite classic. Nice route, and we got lucky being moored on the outside at night. Staff were very friendly, food was decent, and the rooms were nice with a good bathroom and working AC. The small pool at the front was a pleasant surprise. Everything was included in the program, which felt like part of the experience, and there was an option for an onboard massage. On the downside: ask for a room at the front to avoid diesel fumes. This is a group tour setup, which isn't really my thing, so that may color my review somewhat — makes me wonder if there are more personal, small-scale cruise options out there. Transport from Hanoi could improve too: pickup is far too early, and there's a mandatory stop at a pearl shop and other souvenir stores that felt like a tourist trap. There's also constant upselling — even the breakfast cappuccino isn't included and isn't flagged as extra. Staff and management's English could use more training investment. And there's no wifi on board — mobile coverage is weak out there, but Starlink would go a long way. Would I do it again? Probably, but maybe with a different boat.
excellent experience with a balanced tie ory for optional activities and relax time. the crowd size was perfect, and the staff amazing. Especially James who’s service was great both cheerful and attentive.
We had a great time, all the staff were amazing, especially our server James as he was great and very attentive. The trip was very full on and sometimes we felt rushed around but other than that we had a great time.
Had a lovely time on this cruise - the staff were so friendly and accommodating from the start, learning everyones names and being very attentive. There were a nice amount of activities packed into the short trip, from the cooking demonstration, the cave tour and even squid fishing in the evening. The boat itself was clean and well maintained with a classic look, and I loved the bathtub in our room. The cruise allowed for around 30 people, with mostly families with older kids or couples, so it created a really friendly atmosphere between everyone. I personally thought the cruise was worth the price for the food experience alone, and really enjoyed all the meals!! Shoutout to Mel, Gin, Jenny and all the staff who were super warm and made the experience really lovely.

Fantastic experience. Felt like a King and Queen because we were treated like them. Nani our host and Mr Dong were exceptional. Totally recommend, only wish we had more time to do the 3 day cruise.

I just want to give a shout out to one of the restaurant service members Jess(Jessica) who attended to our table. Her service was crisp attentive, and corteous. Infact when i buy my own boat i plan to ask Jess to come work for me. Her outstanding service and professionalism did not go unnoticed. Keep it up Jess. You are going to do great things.
