Turen starter på en strand lige ved siden af den flyvende fiskebone restaurant, retningen af San Nicolas. Vær før 16:30 for kajak instruktion og starte eventyret
Efter at have sejlet i kajak i omkring 10 til 15 minutter, ankommer du til Sea Glass Island, hvor havglasjægere ville lede efter dyrebart havglas.
Slutningen ville være tilbage ved afgangspunktet på en strand lige ved siden af Flying Fishbone, retningen af San Nicolas.

Vigtig information til din tur - Hotel afhentning: Afhentning fra dit hotel vil blive planlagt 30 til 45 minutter før afrejse tid, afhængigt af dit hotel beliggenhed. - Håndklæder påkrævet: Alle gæster skal medbringe håndklæder. Passagerer uden håndklæder vil ikke være tilladt ombord på transporten. - Punktlighed betyder noget: Vær venlig at ankomme i tide - chaufføren vil vente maksimalt 10 minutter. Hvis du går glip af afhentningen, vil transporten være på dine egne omkostninger. Men hvis du formår at ankomme til afgangspunktet i tide, kan du stadig deltage i turen. Reservationsbekræftelse: Efter booking, skal du altid bekræfte din afhentningssted for at undgå forsinkelser. - Cruiseskib passagerer: Afhentningspunktet er på Ocean Drive Store (ved siden af Diamond International). It was a fun experience.. the kids had a blast searching for little gems. The kayak ride was lots of fun too
Our guide was personable and very informative. The winds were high so the waves were rough but he guided us safely along the shore and then over to the island and back. It was very enjoyable!
Great trip, had plenty of time to explore the island and learn about its history. Easy kayak trip even though it was pretty windy.
All the people involved in this experience were very nice. The information was clear, the parking was easy. The guides took us across a small body of water and indeed brought us to a peninsula completely covered in sea glass. It was a dream! Our guide had little baggies for us and cold water. If you’re a sea glass lover, you must do this adventure. It’s pricey, but worth it.
This tour is not for the faint of heart. We arrived 10 minutes before the tour was to start.. and missed the tour. They left without us!!! The kayaks were parked on the island and the extras taken away ( none for us). We could see them already walking around. After what seemed like a long time it was decided to bring back a kayak for us. Once on the island we were given no instructions/ information or history about the island. No digging tools! We finally got there and on our own figured out what to do. The terrain was made of large coral pieces and was very unstable. If you go you need good supportive shoes. The glass… was mostly green and black. We did find some unusual shapes and sizes. It was so hard to walk around that we didn’t want to walk out further for fear of falling. I was contacted the day before and sent detailed instructions along with photos for the pick up location. We were instructed to be at that location at a specific time or you’d miss the ride. 4:00pm pick up 4:30 tour! Pick up was great and Sean did a great job getting us there. Not exactly sure where the disconnect happened. The tour guys did their best in this crazy situation. We were looking forward to this day for many months and it just didn’t work out.

Our team does their best to follow the scheduled departure times, as the tour depends on timing, transportation, and kayak availability. However, we understand how frustrating it must have felt to arrive and see the group already on the island. We appreciate your patience while the team arranged a kayak to bring you over. Sea Glass Island is a natural reef island, not a sandy beach, and the terrain can be uneven due to coral pieces and natural rock formations. For this reason, we always recommend supportive water shoes, as mentioned in our tour information. The island is known for sea glass hunting, and the amount, color, and type of glass found can vary from day to day. Some guests find unique pieces, while others may find more common colors such as green, brown, or black. It is part of the natural treasure-hunting experience. We also appreciate your comments regarding the lack of instructions, history, and guidance once you arrived. This is very helpful feedback for us. Our guides are young locals from the nearby area, and we are proud to provide job opportunities within the community. At the same time, we understand that every guest deserves clear communication, guidance, and a welcoming experience. We will use your review to improve our team training and make sure future guests receive better explanations and support during the tour. Wonderful experience. We were given ziplock bags for our treasures, a small rake to use and bottled water. Rambo and his wife were great!
Such a fun time!! The island is full of sea glass and there's plenty of time to dig and collect as much as you want! We loved our husband and wife guides ❤️
The transportation arrived right on time, and when we arrived at the boat launch, our guide was waiting and ready to go. The kayaking was brief and not challenging. I kayaked with my 11 year old and we were just fine. Kayaks were doubles, so I’m not sure how odd numbered groups would be handled. Life jackets, water, and bags for our sea glass were all provided. Plenty of time to hunt for seaglass. We each brought home a bag full. You will want to wear water shoes and plenty of sunscreen.
Exceptional experience with no pressure to rush to find sea glass which is all over the island. Tools were provided as well as water. Rambo and his wife were great tours and assisted with kayaking!
Unique trip for SEA GLASS LOVERS. Rocky our guide was a gentleman and was very knowledgeable. RECOMMENDED TRIP.
