Under denne tur vil du besøge templet i selskab med vores kyndige vejledning. Vi vil også gå gennem de omkringliggende områder, hvor du kan se Mylapore i alt dens overfyldte kaos. Smykkerne, silkehandlerne, frugt- og grøntsagssælgere og blomsterforhandlere i basarerne giver et farverigt baggrund til templet. Turen går os gennem små baner med gamle hjem, gennem silkebutikker, butikker, der sælger musik og religiøse memorablia, 'kutcheri' auditorier mv. Besøg Kapaleeshwara-templet, Santhome-kirken, og gå gennem Mylapores by-baner i løbet af denne 3-timers tur. Turen er for det meste til fods med en kort strækning i en auto-rickshaw (lokal tuk-tuk), som er arrangeret og inkluderet i turen, og den slutter med sydindiske forfriskninger.

San Thome Church, også kendt som St. Thomas Cathedral Basilica og International Shrine of Saint Thomas, er en romersk-katolsk mindre basilika i Santhome, i byen Chennai, Indien. I slutningen af turen stopper vi ved den populære Saravana Bhavan for snacks og kaffe.
