Lampa was very correct in communication, he also clearly indicated what was expected of us as visitors to the temples. He talks very nicely and takes the time to explain it better. He also keeps it interactive during the tour and lets you think for yourself. Hin has completed the program well with all the hotspot visited. There was also room for our own interpretation and was skippered where necessary on letting us have a great day.

The day with Lampa was interesting, only the aftermath was less. He asked us to cancel the booking of Tripadvisor and pay the cash. Afterwards Tripadvisor debited the money and we paid Lampa cash. So far have not seen a euro back! Watch out!

Super experience! We decided to do the 1-day trip in Anuradphura by bike. Lampa made for a very interesting and interactive day. He speaks very fluent English. During his explanation he asks a lot of questions so that the explanation does not feel long-winded. We learned a lot on this day. There was also very smooth communication with him beforehand. During the afternoon he took us to a place where we could taste the local curry for a very low price. Afterwards we visited Mihintale. Highly recommended! We would recommend a tour with Lampa to anyone!

Today beautiful day experienced together with my 3 daughters and the very pleasant Guide Lampa. In the morning we did a bike tour in Anuradhapura, where we got very interactive explanations about Buddhism and beautiful Things to do. Lampa speaks fluent English. In the afternoon he gave us the choice to end the trip or also visit Mihintale. After a short, tasty local lunch we drove with our tuk-tuks to Mihintale. Very nice experience. The combination of Anaradhapura in the morning and Mihintale in the afternoon ( not at sunset because of the threatening rain ) made for an unforgettable beautiful day where we got interesting explanations and got to see a lot of beautiful things. Lampa was an incredibly driven Guide. He told us all about the history that went with it in PERFECT English at every place. We were there the day of the elections and he gave us a lot of explanations about that too. Super interesting! If you are in Sri Lanka this is definitely recommended. He does this with a lot of passion and knowledge. Perfect combo therefore ☺️

Lampa was a great Guide. It was interesting for a group of 6 people (2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 young children) and everyone appreciated it. He knows how to alternate picturesque stories and deeper knowledge. The places were very well chosen and he knew how to adapt to our pace and our requests. Lampa is a funny, passionate, well English speaking tour guide who gave us a nice informative and relaxed tour around the temples of Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Good with kids too. A full day in the sun can be quite hot, so Lampa split the day in two parts, giving us some time in the afternoon to retreat in the hotel pool during the hottest hours of the day. He also brought us to a brilliant restaurant for lunch, where we had one if the best curries yet. We were encouraged to eat with the hands, like the locals do. Very nice!

We had initially booked the half day tour. After confirming the booking Lampa contacted us via whatsapp after which we briefly called to discuss the day. He was super friendly, thought along in everything and spoke good English. On his advice we finally converted our booking to the full day tour. So we could experience his full story about Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Lampa took us to Mihintale for the sunrise. We were all alone with a beautiful view. He then took us to the old town along several stupas and enthusiastically told us about Buddhism in Sri Lanka and its history. His English is excellent and the stories were interesting and easy to follow. Lampa also helped us book a safari in Wilpattu National Park, the next day. A tip: talk to Lampa about what you want to see and what you want to skip. The old town of Anuradhapura is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you have to buy a ticket for that separately. Lampa can arrange that too. Lampa can also arrange a car for the tour, but this is not included in the price. This is also in the description of the tour but we had overlooked. He is very approachable and responsive, so discuss what you want to see and he will arrange it.
