Den gamle Goa Heritage Walk genoptager nogle af de mest fascinerende fakta under portugisisk styre. Da gamle Goa var Goas tidligere hovedstad, var det en blomstrende by selv i før-portugisiske tider. Det var hovedstaden i Bahmani Sultan Adil Shah imperiet. Portugiserne ankom her i 1510 under deres kommandant Afonso de Albuquerque, og erobrede byen fra Adil Shah, herskeren af Bijapur kongeriget. De kom til Østen i søgen efter handel og til sidst at sprede kristendommen. I vores gamle Goa Heritage Walk, udforske nogle af de mest historisk betydningsfulde bygninger. Old Goa er en verdensarvsliste, der huser nogle af de mest storslåede og ældste kirker i regionen. We did the private tour and Vimala was our guide. She is an exceptional guide with deep knowledge and patience. She answered all our questions and offered relevant information that made the walk more enjoyable. She was quick to build a personal connect with all the members and everyone quite enjoyed the conversation with her. She was engaging for members of all ages, including out 11 year old.
