Vi afhenter dig fra dit hotel eller bolig i Dhaka City og begynder at bevæge sig mod Sonargaon (ca. 1 til 1,5 timers kørsel). 11:00 – 11:30: Først besøger vi Goaldi Moskéen, som blev bygget i 1519 e.Kr. i en landsby Goaldi i Sonargaon af Mulla Hizabar Akbar Khan under Sultan Hussain Shahs styre. Det er en af de gamle moskeer i Bangladesh. Vi tager en lille te pause her.
Boro Sardar Bari i Sonargaon er et historisk herregård bygget i 1901 af den velhavende handelsfamilie Sardar. Bygningen er kendt for sin elegante Indo-europæiske arkitektoniske stil og har store søjler, buede vinduer og indviklede designs. En gang et symbol på velstand, det fungerer nu som en del af Sonargaon Folk Arts og håndværk Museum, der viser den rige kulturelle og kunstneriske arv af Bengal. Vi vil gå Main Building (Prasad), der engang var en kong Isa Kha's palads. Nu bruges til Folke-, Kunst- og Håndværksmuseet og dækker også den nybyggede bygning af folkeart. Vi går gennem hele campus for at udforske den gamle hovedstad i Bengal.
Vi vil besøge Panamastad, som blev bygget i 1500 e.Kr. Nogle rige hinduiske lord opererede deres forretning her og gjorde en by til at leve med alle faciliteter. Området er opdelt af en enkelt vej er de vigtigste koloniale system bygninger. De kunstneriske bygninger vil tage os den gamle af Bangla. 1: 30 pm – 2: 00 pm: Vi vil tage vores frokost på en nærliggende restaurant med lokal mad, der kan være lidt krydret og varmt. Lad os vide efter booking, hvis du har særlige behov.. 14:00 – 14:00: Vi vil tage lidt hvile under greenwood træ og sladre os selv.
Vi vil tage til Meghna floden for at ride på en båd. Megh er en af de tre største floder i Bangladesh. Sonargaon ligger på bredden af floden Meghna.

It is a half-day tour from 11am. It is better to confirm the opening date of each facility in advance of the participation date. It is recommended to bring an umbrella to avoid sudden rain. Both pick-up and drop-off can be specified by the hotel, so it is safe to say.

We took this tour on a very hot day in late April, and it was great to have an air-conditioned vehicle to take us from one location to the next in Sonargaon. At the guide's request, we ended up departing at 1pm instead of 11am, which meant the tour was a little shorter than expected (as we still returned at 6pm). As a result, some of the stops felt a little rushed and it would have been nice to have an extra 10 min or so at each place (we were at each stop for 15-30 mins rather than the 1-2 hours indicated in the schedule). The most relaxing part of the day ended up being the optional boat ride. This small criticism aside, we were able to see all of the promised highlights and felt very satisfied with the tour overall. (In all honesty, the times indicated in the schedule would be too long for most of the stops, especially in the heat - something inbetween would be ideal). Both our guide, Shahadat, and driver were very professional. Shahadat gave us useful information prior to departure, accompanied us to each of the attractions, and even took photographs for us, and we had a safe and punctual journey. Comparing this tour with others on offer, we felt it was very good value indeed and would recommend it to anyone in Dhaka looking to get outside the city and see some more of beautiful Bangladesh. Five stars!
