Great experience - Lucio was an amazing guide! Very helpful and fun, plus he took heaps of photos too!!

Three of us did this tour in September, on the route from Akihabara past Tokyo Station and on to Ginza. Our guide was David, and he is the main reason the whole hour was pure pleasure. He set the pace to suit us, kept an eye on the group at every junction, and there was never a moment of stress or a feeling that things were moving too fast. One of our three drivers was our nineteen-year-old daughter, who has only been driving for a short time — she felt safe the whole way as well. Check-in and the briefing before the ride were efficient and on time. Seeing Tokyo from this perspective is nothing like seeing it from the pavement or the subway — it was one of the best things we did on this trip. If you get David as your guide, you are in good hands. Highly recommended.

Still on a high after having the streetkart experience. Khan was a fabulous guide and driver and took alot of photos for us and continually checked we were ok. Fantastic way to see the sights. We felt like celebrities with people on the sidewalks waving to us and smiling. We had a 1 hour experience, next time will book 2 hours for sure! Thank you! A+

Enjoyed my experience travelling around Tokyo Station, Ginza and Akihabara in a relatively small group at dusk. Guide took plenty of pictures which was a bonus being a solo traveller. For the price I paid the tour was about the right length. However, I must note that Street Kart seems to be running under US style practices while physically in Tokyo - for example, a sign is displayed in the office asking for tips, while Japanese culture states that tipping is not common practice anywhere else in Japan. In addition, when asked if I needed to carry my home drivers licence I was told this was not required - however on investigation should I have followed this advice and been stopped by police I would be at risk of a fine as the FIA (being the body responsible for the issuing of IDPs) advise that "The IDP is valid only when carried in conjunction with and acts as a translation of a driver’s license. If you are traveling in a foreign country and are stopped by a law enforcement officer, your domestic driver’s license and IDP should be presented to the officer." (https://internationaldrivingpermit.org/country/japan/) This view is also shared by the National Police Agency (https://www.npa.go.jp/policies/application/license_renewal/have_DL_issed_another_country.html). Overall, while I did enjoy my experience, the attempt to bring tipping culture into Japan and misleading information around driving licences needing to be carried took the shine off the experience.

It was a nice experience in Tokyo. The staff were very friendly and Julian was our guide in the tour. He was very friendly, took several pictures for us. It is very recommended to try it. We booked it through Klook application. It is a good deal.

Absolutely brilliant way to see Tokyo. We felt very loooked after by David our guide who found time to take pictures, point out the sights and keep us safe.

Guide was great. Ride was a lot of fun. Well worth it.

The whole experience was incredible. Seeing the neon lights of Tokyo at night while cruising through the city on karts. Khan was an incredible guide and I can’t recommend this enough to anyone in visiting Tokyo. 100% top drawer

The workers were super friendly and funny! Oh wow, there’s just so many good points to write about, but the important parts would be that: 1) They were all fluent in English 2) very good at explaining how to use the kart 3) clean and washed (was important to me) costumes 4) took tons of pics for us 5) even gave a good tour around the area! My tour guide was Julian and he was awesome! Since there’s so many go-kart places to choose from, if you aren’t sure which agency to choose, I’d choose here!

The ride was great fun despite the fact I went by myself. Definitely a better group activity with friends. Lucio my guide was a great guy, we had a good talk about shared interests. I'd do the tour again with a group for sure.
