Odyssey Boat Safari fra Larnaca

En betagende krydstogt, som ingen anden! Vi starter dagen fra Larnaca Marina og leder først til Zenobia Shipwreck, et af de 10 bedste vrag i verden. Så sejler vi til Cape Pyla og stopper for svømning. Passagererne kan beundre de spændende huler de smukke røde klipper og de indbyggede områder af havørnene. Vi sejler til Cape Greco forbi Love Bridge. Derefter vil vi nærme os en kæde af havgrotter, kaldet Pirate Caves, som de blev brugt i oldtiden af pirater og smuglere. Kl. 13.00 kan alle passagerer nyde vores lækre Cypernbuffer med appetitlige hjemmelavede lokale retter og grill. Efter kystlinjen mod Protaras bevæger vi sig som lukker, da vi får Famagusta, og vi vil få information om Ghost City, hvor man får et glimt af den tyrkiske besatte by. Bådtur slutter i Protaras og vender tilbage til Larnaca med bus.

Vi starter dagen fra Larnaca Marina og kører først mod Zenobia-skibsvraget.
Svøm og snorkel ved Zenobia, et af de 10 bedste skibsvrag i verden. Zenobia er en svensk fragtfærge, der sank i 1980. Passagerer kan svømme og snorkle for at se skibsvraget nærmere og se dykkere dykke ned til vraget.
Gå forbi fra en af Cyperns smukkeste strande
Vi tager til Cape Greco, forbi den naturlige klippefyldte Love Bridge, og vi nærmer os Pirate Caves, et kompleks af havhuler, der i gamle dage blev brugt af pirater og smuglere (deraf navnet).
Svøm og fotostop ved de maleriske havgrotter og Den Blå Lagune
Videre efter kystlinjen mod Protaras bevæger vi os så tæt som vi får lov til Famagusta, og vi vil få information om spøgelsesbyen, hvor man vil kunne få et glimt af spøgelsesbyen.
Slut på krydstogtet ved den gyldne kyst og bustransport tilbage til udgangspunktet

Der kan være tildelt mødesteder i gåafstand fra overnatningsstedet. For hoteller i centrum af Larnaka er afhentning ikke bevist på grund af gåafstand til havnen. Afhentningsoplysninger sendes senest 1 dag før udflugten via besked/whatsapp.

No fish to be seen at 3 swimming spots. The food was good, music ok, but swimming was restricted to right next to the boat. We enjoyed the colors of the water, but overall the tour was disappointing.
The boat departed from Larnaca marina. This was a nice trip however, it took quite a long time to sail to each place. The first stop was a shipwreck and the closest; there were other boats there with divers so didn’t see anything. Next was a long sail to the next swim stop -almost an hour. No scenery to look at, just open sea or the distant coastline. Swim stop was good; life jackets provided if you want it. After that our next stop was to see the caves but we could not get into the water here, only take photos from our boat. Thd scenery was nice though and the guide told stories about the caves. The next stop was at Blue Lagoon where we saw one turtle swimming in the sea. I went into the sea with my snorkel and when I looked up, I was so far away from the boat because the water was rough and I really struggled to swim back to the boat. At one point I got a bit panicked as every time I took a breath, I was pushed back further away from the boat. I finally managed to swim back but let me tell you, it took everything I had - the sea was so choppy. When I did get back, I was exhausted and decided never again. Hence I didn’t get in the water again! The food provided for lunch was buffet style with plenty of choice and very tasty. They also bought round fresh watermelon for a snack. The guide was very informative and friendly. They dropped us off at the end of the trip at a different marina and we had to transfer to smaller boats to get back to shore.

An interesting route, but this boat on a Sunday was horrendously over-crowded. Swim stops were too short given the number of people trying to enter/exit the water. Food fine (but free wine awful). Over-priced at 75 euros.
DO THIS TRIP.👌 10/10…very well organised . A lovely bbq chicken with a wide selection of rice salads etc for lunch. A few stops along the way and a chance to Swim in crystal clear water .. optional. And you never know you may be joined by unexpected guest — dolphins . Pretty special moment. And turtles are around in turtle Bay.
This was an amazing experience. It exceeded our expectations. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We saw a dolphin and a sea turtle. The swim spots were on point. Definitely worth it.
It was not the boat that was advertised in the pictures. But in the end the staff in the boat ensured that I had a good time.
I would highly recommend this trip. We had a lovely day. There was enough room for everyone to have a seat or lounger. It was well organised with a free bar for local wines, soft drinks, and the local spirit of Cyprus. The music and dancing were fun and the lunch was delicious. We even swam with turtles. We felt it was great value for money.
