Med kun maksimalt 25 passagerer gør dette vores Great Barrier Reef & Green Island tur meget gæstfokuseret!Faktisk er vi den eneste sejl, reef og tropiske ø oplevelse i Cairns catering for så lavt antal gæster. Svøm, snorkle eller dykke direkte fra båden på en eksklusiv storslået GBR site - ingen folkemængder. Båden er anlagt kun 1 km fra Green Island - en stærkt beskyttet Marine Park zone. Fra Cairns, sejl til dette reef site og Green Island i stil på en to-mast skanner og nyde en lækker buffet frokost om bord. Efter snorkling af båden tage en mild transfer for at udforske skønheden i Green Island, se regnskoven eller lazere på de hvide sandstrande.

Kun vores gæster snorkle dette websted gør det til en meget personlig oplevelse! Skildpadder og store skoler af fisk en fælles sted blandt koral "bommies" (udcrops) der stiger form omkring 10-12M op til lidt under 1M under overfladen gør det et ideelt område for stor snorkling Tilbring morgenen snorkling & / eller SCUBA dykning (valgfrit ekstra) over et utroligt reef system og se det mest unikke og farverige marine liv under vejledning af vores meget opmærksomme besætning. Efterfølgende hop tilbage om bord på dit skib til en lækker stor smorgasbord frokost, hvorefter du kan hoppe ind i tilbuddet som skipperen tager dig til Green Island strand - din 2. sted at udforske!
Gæsterne kan besøge denne ø som en del af deres Ocean Free Green Island & Great Barrier Reef sejltur med kun maksimalt 25 gæster. De har et valg af at tilbringe resten af eftermiddagen på øen indtil sidste afhentning eller tilbage til hovedfartøjet efter en time, hvis de foretrækker at gøre mere snorkling. Ocean Free ligger faktisk på et eksklusivt privat reef 1Km fra øen, hvor gæsterne kan dele deres tid mellem snorkling og dykning (valgfrit ekstra) lige uden for båden på dette eksklusive Great Barrier Reef site og gå til øen i tendensen til at udforske eller bare slappe af på den tropiske strand. Gæsterne har 4 og 1/2 timer til at opleve revet og øen. Typisk vores gæster valgte at tilbringe 1-2 timer på øen . På øen kan gæsterne nyde en fortolkende gåtur på tværs af øen, slappe af på stranden og besøge Marineland Melanesia (lille gebyr for at komme ind her)
Marineland Melanesia er en valgfri oplevelse, når du besøger Green Island. For et mindre gebyr kan du gå ind i denne attraktion for at se krokodiller, skildpadder, artefakter og fakta omkring regionen

- Gæsterne kommer fra mange lande og mange har kun en lille mulighed for at besøge revet. Fartøjet vil operere under alle vejrforhold (bortset fra kulingstyrke og varsler om voldsomt vejr) og har ekstra procedurer for at gøre dagen bedst mulig. Hvis du er bekymret over vejret, kan du besøge www.bom.gov.au cairns kystrapport - det vil give dig en 4-dages vejrudsigt. 10-20 knob er en normal god dag. Rejsedatoen kan ændres afhængigt af tilgængelighed og også fuld refusion ved afbestilling med mindst 24 timers varsel. Vores fartøjer er åbne i luften med god bådbevægelse, så der er mindre sandsynlighed for at blive søsyge end nogle andre lukkede fartøjer, men hvis de er tilbøjelige til køresyge, anbefaler vi at tage rejsesygetabletter 20 minutter før ombordstigning på fartøjet.
- Hvis de har til hensigt at deltage i dykning, skal alle dykkere (uanset om de er certificerede eller introduktionsdykkere) udfylde et medicinsk dykkerspørgeskema om bord. Hvis dykning er en vigtig mulighed for dig, bedes du rådgive, hvis du har nogen medicinske problemer (tidligere eller nuværende) eller tager nogen medicin, så vi kan rådgive, hvis der kræves en QLD dykkermedicinsk tilladelse. This was such an experience and the crew were amazing and very patient considering this was our first time snorkelling and we were a little anxious doing this in the open sea. The guide stayed with us the whole while in the water and made sure we saw as much as possible. The lunch and snacks were also great. It was such a wonderful day. Totally recommended.
What a wonderful experience this was! The staff were friendly, patient and informative. We were giving lots of great food and the boat ride was enjoyable. We had an amazing day weather wise which made the experience even better. I really enjoyed the snorkelling and having smaller numbers of passengers on the tour. Thank you for making this one of my families favourite days ever.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable Great Barrier Reef Sailing & Snorkeling Adventure! We joined Ocean Free for a day out on the reef, and it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish! 🛥️ Even with swells hitting over 10 foot, the trip was so much fun and added a real sense of adventure to the day. Snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef was beyond anything we imagined – the fish were absolutely stunning, in every bright colour you could think of, and we even got to see gentle baby sharks swimming peacefully nearby – such a special highlight! 🐠🦈 The crew were honestly amazing: so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and looked after us perfectly the whole time. The food served on board was delicious too – fresh, tasty and just what we needed after being in the water. What a fantastic day out! We left with amazing memories we’ll cherish forever. Huge thanks to the whole Ocean Free team – we’d recommend this trip to anyone visiting Cairns! 💙

The team were great. Met some lovely people. The fact it’s a smaller group made it more memorable. Snorkelling in your own area, trip to green island and lots learnt. Came back under sail as well. Really glad we chose this trip.

Crew was great! And the day was awesome. The ocean wasn’t smooth but they took good care of us and we saw plenty of sea life. Very accommodating of various passengers’ sea sickness— they brought anti-nausea meds enough for everyone.

Had an incredible trip on Ocean Free out to Green Island. Everything about it was excellent, the boat, food and equipment were perfect. The best thing was the crew, Ryan, Reece and Tom were so friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They are a credit to a very well run operation.

The boat is very beautiful and well-equipped. The price difference compared to Ocean Freedom is certainly justified, and in our case, we would definitely make the same choice again. Brian, the skipper, and his crew were very welcoming, professional, and friendly. Snorkeling was wonderful, and during the summer, it must be even more spectacular. Good and abundant is also the food offered throughout the day. I saw even the least inclined people being carefully attended to. I would do it again 100 times!

This trip couldn’t have been more delightful. The crew were adept at sailing and snorkeling/diving. Very knowledgeable about the Reef. Truly seemed to enjoy getting to know each of us. Generally fabulous hosts for a day that felt like a private tour on a sailboat on the Great Barrier Reef! Fabulous!

We used the company when visiting Cairns in 2019 and had a great experience with an assisted scuba dive on that trip so I knew we wanted to use them again. This time we opted to snorkel only but it was another amazing experience from start to finish! The crew members are all so friendly and knowledgeable and the food served throughout the day exceeded our expectations. So many fresh fruits, veggies and breads as well as a variety of proteins. Having the opportunity to sail while also visiting the reef and green island was just what I was looking for. The day was perfect!!
