Amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the hosts, Costas and Agathi, treated us with exceptional hospitality. It was a truly hands-on experience. We chopped vegetables, ground herbs, seared meat, folded filo, etc. All the ingredients we used were local and fresh. While we were preparing the food, Chef Costas provided us with great insights on what to do and what not to do to enhance the flavor. When the food was ready, every course was thoughtfully paired with a local wine. During our time there, we had plenty of time to learn, enjoy the food, and have great conversations with our hosts. We had a great experience with Kostas and Agathi in late May 2026. They taught us to cook a unique twist on a Greek salad, a classic Greek orange cake, and delicious braised chicken. Though we cook frequently, we still learned a great deal from Kostas. Their wine pairings were great. I should note that they recommended a few other places to visit (e.g., wineries in Nemea), and those were wonderful, too. In short, our evening at Savor was one of our favorite experiences during the 3.5 weeks we were in Greece. If you are in the Nafplio area, you really need to go here!!

We had an amazing time with Costas and Agathi. They are both so welcoming, especially to our two children (ages 14 and 12). The kids were involved with the preparation and cooking from the beginning and had an absolute blast (as did mom and dad). The space was as beautiful as the the food was amazing. The wine pairings were spot on and a good time was had by all for several hours. In addition to the food and wine, we also learned a great deal about Greek culture and customs (and futbol). Definitely recommend to anyone!

This cooking experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece. Kostas and Agathi warmly welcomed us and showed us some great creative techniques during the class. It was very hands on, and they made sure to engage our teenagers. The results tasted great, and the wine pairings were very interesting. Don’t hesitate to book this class!

Fabulous experience! Would recommend for all ages. Cooked amazing greek food and learned about Greek heritage as well as cooking skills. Enjoyed the feast that we worked together to cook.

This was an amazing experience with a professional chef, learning how to prepare regional cuisine. We assisted in making a gourmet greek salad with a twist, appetizer of fried feta wrapped in philadough (learned about all the different kind of feta), chicken ragu with pasta, and a homemade orange cake. They paired each course with a complimentary wine. Kitchen & knife skills were taught. My husband and I had such a great time making the foods and learning, followed by eating a fabulous lunch! We cannot recommend this experience enough. Thank you to both of our hosts!

Fantastic experience. I do cooking classes whenever I travel somewhere new, and I was so impressed by this. Some unique aspects of this class is the wine tasting and the plating of the dishes. While some cooking classes give free wine or drinks, I’ve never seen one that is so intentional about the wine pairing with each course. I don’t typically drink wine but this opened my eyes to how important wine choice elevates meals flavors. The class was very clean and organized. The meals were delicious and I got to learn new techniques and tricks that can be used in daily cooking like how to use parchment paper to speed up cooking. I am so glad I took this class and highly recommend it.

Great lunch, and fun class. I learned a good deal, and had fun at the same time with an engaging, upbeat chef.

We have an amazing time. Kostas was a math teacher, so he really knows how to teach, even the most unexperienced ones. The foid was amazing the vibe and ambience great. Agatha was all around making sure everything is in the right place. Highly recommended

Such a fun experience at Savor Nafplio! We did the cooking class and loved it. We made stuffed zucchini, fried feta wrapped in filo (so good), and orange syrup cake. Costas and Agathi were amazing hosts – super warm, welcoming, and really entertaining. We also learned a lot about feta and wine pairing, which made it even better. It honestly felt like cooking with friends. Would 100% go back – 5 stars!
