NYC: Bagel Baking Class med prisvindende bager (Midtown)

Learned a lot about the history of bagels and the process of producing them. Very hands-on experience and fun. John and Sam are capable, knowledgeable, and entertaining.

They canceled on me at the very last minute, even though I had booked months in advance. It shows a clear lack of commitment to customer service, and it’s disappointing that they promote classes they end up canceling last minute.

I booked a large group for the bagel making class in midtown. It was a very unique experience! Our team had a blast, we learned a lot about the history of bagels, and got to take a bunch of our own creations home. It was a great value, I highly recommend it!

My husband loves to cook and bake so this was perfect. We made enough bagels to take home 12 with us. I had two for breakfast and they were awesome. Sam loves what he does and it shows. The time went by fast. My bagels were delicious. The history of bagels was even very interesting. You get to actually roll and form the bagels, then get to boil them before you coat them in your choice of various seeds or seasoning. Then they get baked. Before you leave with your fresh bagels, Sam and Reva cook up the odd extra bagels to serve us with various spreads and of course lox. If you are thinking of doing this, I suggest do it. You won't be disappointed.

What a unique experience to roll, boil, season and bake your own bagels! It was such a blast. The staff was super friendly and we learned a lot too! Then….we got to eat them! Delicious! Everyone left with their creations to take home. It was a truly fun and entertaining time!

The New York bagel making workshop was really fun and informative. It was especially interesting to be able to make bagels in an actual working bagel bakery, using the same equipment that professionals use like the giant boiling pot, bagel boards and the bagel oven. We really enjoyed the history lesson too from Jason, getting a sneak peek into the giant fridge holding racks of thousands of bagels and watching professional bagel-maker Reva deftly roll perfectly shaped bagels. The bagel feast was delicious and it was fun to sample different bagel toppings and spreads like blueberry and scallion. Drinks provided. Would definitely recommend the workshop to all bagel fans!

The bagel class was such a fun, interesting experience. My 20-year-old daughter and I did it together and we both loved it!

Wonderful experience start to finish. Sam and Reva were excellent teachers. We learned a lot. Made delicious bagels and got a doggie bag too. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a fun, hands on experience.

I have been to cooking classes around the world and this bagel class did not disappoint. Book it. You'll get to roll bagels from dough, boil, dip and bake....all while enjoying your favorite beverage amongst a few fast made friends. Hearing the history just added to the great experience.

Recently attended a bagel making class hosted by NYC Bagel Tours, and it exceeded all expectations! The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating bagel facts and history throughout the session. I not only learned the art of crafting the perfect bagel but also gained a newfound appreciation for this iconic baked treat. Highly recommend for both beginners and bagel enthusiasts!! Kudos to NYC Bagel Tours, Reva and Sam for a memorable and enriching class!!
