We really enjoyed this tour. Booking the 8:30 AM slot was a great choice because the queue to enter Notre-Dame was much shorter. The one-hour tour was just the right length, and the atmosphere inside the cathedral was truly unforgettable. Quentin was an excellent guide: knowledgeable, engaging, and easy to follow. Although the tour is quite expensive considering entry to the cathedral is free, the quality of the guide made it worthwhile. Being able to stay inside and explore Notre-Dame after the tour was also a great bonus. We would especially recommend this tour to first-time visitors who want to learn about the cathedral's history.
Elonora was a wonderful guide! We all learned so much about Notre Dame and the small group setting was perfect.

Make sure you can find your tour guide. We arrived early, but couldn’t find the location to meet our guide. A guide for a future tour told us our guide left 5 minutes after our departure time and wouldn’t come back to find us. We were a private group of 4 people of a maximum group of 5. This is a very bad way to run a business. We didn’t get to take our tour guide.
Luz was an excellent tour guide. Before the touur even began she made she we stopped at a shop to load up on water to be well hydrated during the heat wave. She not only gave us the history of the cathedral inside and out but was well versed about the fire and restoration. She mentioned that she spoke directly with the artisans who had been working on the restoration to learn about the details of the fire and the restoration.
We had a great tour with just one other couple. Out guide. (Sorry, I fdon’t recall her name but she is a lovely Italian lady)) was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic anout the history and restoration of the cathedral.
Lines move well. Knowlegeable and friendly guide .Rich history. Fabulous inside Notre Dame. Great value for the price.
Great informational tour inside and out of the Cathedral. Recommend early in the day when it’s not too crowded. Really enjoyed abd and a must do.
The Guide was an ART Expert working in other museums. he declared he was not Catholic, but he could not tell between a statu of St Theres and the Virgen Mary and said so proudly. He wanted to talk about everything that was "not Original" in Notre Dame he wasnt able to talk at all about the fire or what it took to rebuild. All he wanted to talk about was what was destroyed during he French Revolution, talkabout what the elite contributed to ND and the poor was ignored. He wantes to talk bad about Louie XIV, Louie XV and the Popes. he was all concerned about te social injustice and all the Classical Left Agenda. I he knew nothing about Catholic Simbolism, The Fire, and theHeroic 5 year effort of the reconstruction he shoulld not be conducting this tour. Everybody in the 5 people tour was under the impression that this was a Skip The Line Tour. we had to stand in line 35 minutes in 100 degrees heat before we could get in and this was supposed to be a 1 HOUR TOUR (i think this is part of the reason evrybody thought tat this was Skip the Line) AS PER YOUR BROCHURE. AFTER 2 HOURS WE LEFT THE TOUR. This is the worse tour I have ever taken with Viator. I spect a full refund! The person who contracted this guide should be held responsible for hiring an unqualified guide and ruin the experience for us and misrepresent the tour to us.

Regarding the wait to enter Notre-Dame, this is unfortunately outside of any tour operator’s control. As stated multiple times throughout the tour description and again in the reminder email sent before your visit, this tour does not include skip-the-line entry. Entry to the cathedral is managed entirely by Notre-Dame, and all visitors—including guided groups—must join the public queue. During periods of exceptionally high temperatures and visitor demand, wait times can be longer than usual. We appreciate your comments and will share them with our guide as part of our ongoing quality review process. While we respect that the tour did not align with your preferred focus, our investigation does not indicate that the tour was misrepresented or conducted by an unqualified guide.
