Der er masser af ting at se og gøre på én dag: Ferskvandssøer, vandreture langs kysten, paradisiske strande, rigt havliv og dyreliv, kultur og historie. På denne tur går du Gorge Walk, der er belønnet med en af de mest fantastiske kystvandringer i Australien, hvor der er store chancer for at få øje på manta rokker, skildpadder, delfiner og meget mere. Og det vigtigste: uden hastværk! Bare tag dig tid til at nyde attraktionerne. Og strandene! Rejseguiden tager dig med på en gåtur på et hemmeligt sted for at se koalaer i naturen, og du vil også have tid nok til at nyde svømning ved Amity Point Beach. Vores mål er at skabe en mere intim oplevelse med de rejsende, derfor er det maksimale antal personer 11 i hver gruppe. Nyd en fantastisk solnedgang ved færgen på vej tilbage til fastlandet. Denne tur fokuserer på at skabe bemærkelsesværdige minder, slappe af og forbinde med moder natur, historie og kultur. Kom og vær med og se, hvad balladen handler om!

Tag færgen, få en kop kaffe, og slap af og nyd den fantastiske udsigt over Moreton Bay på denne 45 minutters overfart.
Brown Lake er rent regnvand farvet brunt af de indfødte te-træer, også kendt som Lake Bummiera, nogle siger, at denne skjulte skat har foryngende vand. Lær om øen og Quandamooka-folkets historiske og kulturelle betydning. Bliv forfrisket og ny energi ved det friske vand i denne smukke sø.
Tag fantastiske billeder fra et af de mest imponerende udkigssteder på øen og gå en hurtig tur på denne paradisiske strand.
Dagens store attraktion: Gorge Walk. På denne 40-45 minutters gåtur vil du nyde den fantastiske udsigt over Koralhavet ved det sydlige Stillehav og dets utroligt rige havliv: store chancer for at få øje på manta rokker, skildpadder, delfiner og meget mere.
Det er tid til frokost på Point Lookout. Da vi kan lide at give vores rejsende flere valgmuligheder, kan du enten medbringe din egen frokost eller købe en takeway og nyde en picnic med en fantastisk udsigt.
Så er det tid til at slappe af på stranden, så turen går til Amity Point. Din rejseguide tager dig med på en gåtur (hemmeligt sted) for at søge efter koalaer i naturen, og hvis koalaspotting ikke er noget for dig, har du igen muligheder: nyd endnu mere tid på stranden.

Great trip. Well organised. Friendly guide. The island is gorgeous with magnificent scenery and we saw lots of wildlife including whales playing off shore. Had a wonderful day.

The booking to actual experience of the tour, everything was absolutely wonderful. Aggie was a delightful host and guide... She made us feel very welcomed and comfortable throughout. The pace of the tour was perfect and the overall management was smooth as butter. Icing on the cake, thanks to Aggie were the adorable kangaroos and koalas spotted in their natural environment, it will be my most special takeaway from the trip.

Excellent day out on this beautiful island. Small group with friendly guide,Rob, who took us around the island to special spots. Saw bush curlews(lots), whales,turtles,carpet snake winding up a bush,wallabies,koalas,beautiful scenery. Highly recommend.

The view of Pacific Ocean was breathtaking, and fortunately we met some wild dolphins, whale, kangaroos(family), and koalas! And the tour guide was great and really care for everyone in the tour, regardless of races, or colours(no matter you're white or yellow), and ages(from elderly to children). But it's a pity that the time was a little less in North Gorge Walk and the shops beside the Walk, we'd love to spend more time relaxing in the small but delicate area. In total, we would definitely recommend the tour and Hits the Road Company to everyone!

An enjoyable and informative tour round the sights, wildlife and beaches of Straddie. We saw whales, a couple of dolphins and even a couple of koala way up high in a gumtree, and did the stunning gorge walk. A long day but a good one, especially with the fine weather.
