Our day trip from Bayeux to the Normandy Beaches and the American Cemetery was one of the highlights of our visit to France. Matthew was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about the history of the region. He brought the stories of D-Day and the Allied invasion to life while providing thoughtful context throughout the tour. His large van comfortably accommodated eight passengers, making for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend this tour and especially Matthew for anyone wanting a meaningful and informative visit to these historic sites.
Our guide with Gold Coast tours was knowledgeable, and wanted to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. It was difficult to hear and understand her, as she was soft spoken. Even though we asked her to repeat, we often could not hear what she was saying. Overall a good experience, but not one of the best Viator experiences we’ve had.
It's always about the guide, and Thierry was the best for knowledge, passion and ensuring we had the the full experience.
Kate was EXCELLENT! She was extremely knowledgeable about DDAY and the history of WWII. She is a top notch historian and thoroughly enjoyable and educational
