Amazing time so much food and awesome information. History and food all in the same tour! Highly recommend and Kristie was Awesome
The tour guide was kind and knowledgeable. We stopped at several establishments in the French Quarter and each had its own vibe. We really enjoyed all of the food and the experiences.
Our guide, Lauren, did a fantastic job guiding us through the French Quarter. Not only did we get great food, we learned about the history and culture of this unique city. She also shared a list of recommendations outside the Quarter to make sure we enjoyed our trip to the fullest!
This tour was fun, educational and delicious! Our tour guide Susan was very passionate about New Orleans food and music and culture, The stops on the tour were a representation of the must try foods and all were Fabulous. Susan also had plenty of suggestions on what do explore during your visit, some of which we tried and enjoyed! A lovely and tasty way to learn about NOLA!
What a great way to both learn about and taste New Orleans. Our guide Jack, was the best. Knowledgeable, personable and organized. The New Orleans cooking institute made gumbo and jambalaya look easy to make and taste was fantastic. We hit all of our food groups
We really enjoyed our tour with Susan. She told us a lot about the food we would be eatting and the nationalities that blended together to create it. Highly recommended.
This was the first food tour we’ve ever taken and our guide, Susan, made it a wonderful experience. She was extremely knowledgeable about the places we ate in and New Orleans history.
This was the best tour ever and Susan was so knowledgeable and kind! Would recommend this tour with Susan to my friend
This was such a great tour! Nate, our tour guide, was just awesome! He paced our group perfectly and shared so many historical stories about the food that we were eating and the culture behind it. We learned about cajun and creole food and the stories behind why the food was prepared in a certain way using different ingredients. Our food stops were great! Some of my favorite stand outs on the food tour were the gator sausage and muffuletta sandwich. Everything was delicious. My tour ended with a cooking demonstration at the New Orleans Cooking School. Chef Cindy was FABULOUS! We watched her make a corn and crab bisque, which was my favorite thing I tried of the day. At this point we were stuffed, but kept eating anyway. Cindy did a wonderful job explaining the 3 things that she made for our group. What a fun day! I would highly recommend this activity for any foodies out there.
Had a great walking food tour, history lesson, and geography lesson. Susan was very knowledgeable and friendly. She moved us along with numerous stories. We ended the tour with a cooking class at the NO Culinary School where we enjoyed gumbo, jambalaya, and pralines. The Chef was great, very casual and presented a "chemistry lesson" about food preparation. We had so much food that we rolled out and then skipped dinner. Highly recommend.
