Velkommen til de botaniske haver i Nevis Gardens er beliggende på land, der oprindeligt tilhørte Montpelier Estates, hvor en ung Horatio Nelson giftede sig med Fanny Nesbit i 1797. De fem hektar store haver indeholder en række tropiske planter, hvis oprindelse spænder over hele kloden, og hvor kaskaderne, delfinfonterne og vandliljer vil glæde dig.
Beliggende højt i foden af Nevis Peak, Montpelier er et roligt karakteristisk skjulested formet af natur, historie og en nem karibisk rytme. Hotellet er omgivet af 60 hektar frodige tropiske haver og har udsigt over Det Caribiske Hav, og ligger i en af øens oprindelige sukkerplantager fra det 18. århundrede.

This was at the top of the list on what we didn’t in Saint Kitts and Nevis! The price was more than fair for all we got to see and do. Our guide Slimz was top notch, a local and honestly he was made it worth it as he told us he was on our time. Every place we went to was incredible, not a lot of people and atmosphere felt like we are part of the family. We booked the full day and it was by far the correct choice. Next time we will take them up on some of the other tours they offer. If you’re alone, with friends, family or even a work trip you have to try it out.
This was a wonderful & relaxing experience! I got to see & enjoy the island with Keithson - the dynamic Kittitian/Nevisian tour guide! He was amazing! I'm an explorer and he definitely took me on a fantastic voyage. From the hot spring to the local garden bar to the lobster lunch to the beautiful beach, and everything I saw and experienced in between - I throughly enjoyed myself. Keithson was friendly knowledgeable about the island, culture & its history. I felt like I was spending the day with a friend, not on a stuffy tour. Awesome tour!
If you’re looking to have an authentic experience, book with Keith! It was our first time in St. Kitts and we booked him for our day trip to Nevis. He was right there to greet us at the dock. We went around the most of the island, stopping at historical sites, beautiful gardens, local bars, artisan shops and eateries. If you’re into history, he knows a lot about everything! He’s extremely personal and knows everyone at each of the stops so chatting with locals felt natural. Great experience! 100% would recommend and can’t wait to be back in Nevis one day!

Such an incredible tour from start to finish. As a solo female traveler I felt completely safe along the entire tour. I only had one day in Nevis and wanted to see as much as possible. My tour guide Keithson was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the history and land and overall a 10/10 for the overall tour and sites experience. He ensured I made my water taxi back to St.Kitts after having a killer bee and it was such a memorable day. Keithson is extremely detail oriented, took GREAT pictures of me at the sites and will ensure you leave feeling like a local... I surely do! Our guides were friendly and extremely knowledgeable of Nevis and St. Kitts local customs, flora, fauna, and history, What sets them apart is they did not have rigid time schedules allowing us to spend as much or as little time as we wanted at each stop. They were enthusiastic sharing their island with us. They arranged transport to and from our hotel to the water taxi to Nevis.
This is a good tour if you are staying in St Kitts and want a guided day trip to Nevis. Not only did it include hotel pickup, they handled all the boat ticket transfer reservations. It made it an easy day. Guide was friendly and knew a lot about the island. Thank you for a great time.
This tour exceeded my expectations! Nevis is a special place and I am so glad my stellar guide Keithson was able to represent his island well and share all the hidden gems and highlights. Our stops were all memorable, and I especially loved the botanical garden. It was simply beautiful. Overall, the island tour presented a great blend of sightseeing while also having a few opportunities to shop with the local artists and craftsmen. Ending at the beach just simply left the perfect mark on my solo birthday trip. This tour is everything and more. I am ready to relocate!
