Beautiful place. Took a long time to get on the bus to the castle so make sure you have plenty of time. The small town has some good food.
You MUST give yourself plenty of time to get to the entrance. Not just the recommended time but MORE time. At 9am, we were caught in traffic in Füssen for more than 45 minutes, the bus que took another 30 minutes, etc. We missed our entry time and there was NO grace period. So, the company will sell you a ticket but there are many road blocks to arriving on time. I might recommend a tour company to negotiate all of this.
Fantastic! Tickets arrived as expected the morning before our time. We followed the directions and waited for our number to be called. Easy peasy! Nice guided part and self guided portion were fine. No issues. Interesting to see it again after 13 years, a lot has changed.
It was an indescribable experience. And we received tickets at short notice through this portal. Everything worked wonderfully. However, the price is already significantly overpriced…

The castle is very beautiful... but there are really many dead times... too much waiting... we lost a day, but the tour lasted a maximum of 30 minutes!
What a scam! We complained at the ticket center and they are known for their dishonest business. Avoid at all costs! They book tickets online on the morning and charge double.
Booked time for 9.30am. Received WhatsApp message at 8am with tickets but showed start time at 10.30am. We arrived at the gate at 9.30am and was told we had to wait until 10.30am. We could not wait that long as we had other arrangements. Also noted other people having the same problem.

We ask every customer to read the product description first before booking, in which it explains very clearly, that the tour at the castle will begin 1 to 2 hours after the starting you booked on Viator. 9.30 A.M. which you booked indicated the time you should arrive in Hohenschwangau at. We still hope you had a great day and a wonderful experience at the castles.
