På denne lille gruppetur besøger vi resten af den nazistiske koncentrationslejr Vught fra Anden Verdenskrig med dets rekonstruerede vagttårne, kaserner, krematorium og børnemindesmærke. Lejren blev brugt mellem januar 1943 og oktober 1944 og holdt over 31.000 jødiske og politiske fanger. Under dette besøg vil betydningen af denne tid i vores nyere historie blive fremhævet. En lydrundvisning er inkluderet på stedet. Vores rejseleder vil blive hos gruppen under hele besøget og vil være i stand til at besvare dine spørgsmål. Privat transport, drikkevarer og snacks inkluderet.

På denne lille gruppetur besøger vi resten af koncentrationslejren med dens rekonstruerede vagttårne, kaserner, krematorium og børneminde. Dette imponerende mindesmærke, der er centralt beliggende på campingpladserne, viser navnene og alderen på de 1.269 jødiske børn, der blev deporteret i juni 1943. Efter et besøg i mindesmærke og museum, vil der være tid til at gå til henrettelsesområdet, beliggende i de omkringliggende skove. Her er der opført et mindesmærke, der viser navnene på de fanger, der blev henrettet på dette sted.

This was by far one of our favorite excursions. It was very moving and educational. Eva’s personal family story really brought the experience to life. Her story made the ride to Vught go by so fast. Five stars was the max I could give. I would give it a 10 if I could. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone coming to Amsterdam and looking for unique experience.

Beautiful visit to the camp. Instructive and moving. The site is well arranged. The museum offers short testimonies from former detainees.
Really thought provoking place. Our guide Elice was a great driver and she knew so much about the camp and its history.

Our guide was sweet, kind, and an excellent driver, and the site's history is deeply moving. However, the transport van was unbearably hot as the air conditioning only functioned in the front.

Unfortunately we have indeed experienced some fairly un-Dutch hot days this week. The air conditioning should normally be functioning in the whole van, not just in the front. My family of 4 loved this tour-a highlight of our trip. Ava was a fantastic guide and amazing storyteller. Her knowledge of WWII and the holocaust was close to her heart and it showed. I highly recommend booking with her!
