From the moment we arrived we felt like we’d known Stamos and family for years. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Naxos. Do it.
I cannot say enough good things about this experience. Everyone involved was so nice and welcomed us to their farm. Our guide for the day, Constantina, was amazing and so good with our kids. We loved learning about the farm, prepping the food, making the food, adding our love to the food, EATING, dancing, kinship, conversation, and overall being merry! The whole experience was top-notch and was the cherry on top of our already fantastic trip to Naxos. This is a must for everyone, regardless of age. THANK YOU to everyone at Perivoli Farms!
The people were VERY friendly and accommodating. Very customer interactive and at the end of the evening had so much fun eating/drinking & Greek dancing.
Really fun, cool and Yummy experience. We did the 3:30-7:45pm time slot. The family on the farm are super friendly and welcoming. Thank you Niko,Sotto & stamos for making such an entertaining and inspiring experience
If you’re visiting Naxos, the Perivoli Farm cooking experience is something we would absolutely recommend. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and we loved learning about this family’s private farm, the fresh local produce they grow, and what everyday life is like on the island. Konstantina was an incredible host—knowledgeable, kind, patient, and so engaging with both the adults and the children. She shared not only wonderful cooking techniques but also the family’s philosophy of minimizing waste and making use of everything the farm produces, which was inspiring to see firsthand. The food was absolutely outstanding—every dish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and authentic. It was such a treat to learn traditional recipes directly from locals and then enjoy the meal together. We also loved ending the experience with Greek dancing and even the fun tradition of breaking plates! The fresh honey was another highlight. Our kids had just as much fun as we did. They loved searching the farm for eggs at the beginning of the class, petting the friendly cats, helping prepare the meal, and trying new foods they helped create. We were amazed by how much they enjoyed cooking—and how delicious everything turned out! If peaches are in season, be sure to ask Konstantina if you can pick a few from the trees. They were some of the juiciest and sweetest peaches we’ve ever tasted. This experience perfectly captures genuine Greek hospitality—warm, welcoming, educational, and unforgettable. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Naxos and created memories our whole family will treasure.
The best experience learned a lot and ate great food! So much fun
Wonderful experience! Felt like the hosts genuinely enjoy connecting with guests and showing off their property. The hosts were very gracious, the food was amazing and fresh, and there was plenty of dancing and wine after our meal. I ignored others' suggestion to skip breakfast (what do you mean? I always need breakfast!) and then quickly realized my mistake about halfway through the very-large meal. Don't be like me-- come hungry! For real!
Our whole family (kids, parents, grandparents) loved this tour. The farm is so interesting. We saw the peacocks (plus babies!), pigs, chickens, olive grove, potato fields, vineyards and so much more. Then we went to this beautiful covered patio with an outdoor kitchen. The food was outstanding and so much fun to learn how to make traditional Greek dishes. Everyone got to participate in the prep. Plus the house wine made on property was free flowing! Overall just a great afternoon. Highly recommend.
It was a wonderful experience! Learing about the history of the farm and all it offers. Preparing our dellicious meal, wine from their vineyards. and breaking bread with strangers. Dancing and smashing plates. The guides a d owners are welcoming. A day to remember. Dress comfortably and wear good walking shoes.
We had a wonderful time with this lovely Greek family on their farm. Stamos was our guide as he showed us thru the olive tree grove, teaching us about olive oil. We hunted for eggs the chickens had laid that we would use in our cooking class, and he took us thru the gentle hill explaining more about the wild thyme and oragano growing throughout our walk. The views from the hillside were magnificent, and we even met the family donkey, Margarita. This first hour was informative and really got us connected with the land. Then we arrived at a gorgeous pergola where long tables awaited us for cooking and dining. Stamos walked us thru preparing vegetables for fried zucchini balls, a Greek stew, cucumber yogurt dip, a pastry-cheese dessert..... All the while sipping on wine, and the family cooking the meal over their wood burning oven. It was so much fun. We were in a group of about 10 and met a couple other fun families who were enjoying the experience with us. The family then invited us to join in for some Greek dancing and opa! we were throwing white plates on the ground. The 4 hours went by so quickly because we were having so much fun! Definitely recommend!
