We had a lovely time with Sam ! She is very fun and personable, and has a lot of knowledge on both her city and the cuisine it specializes in. The boat ride with all the lanterns at night is magical. A tip : come with empty stomachs ! You'll be very full by the end of it 😂

We have done a day walking eating tour in Hoi An a few years ago, but this was the night version and we found this even better! Our guide was excellent, the food was all delicious, and we ate some interesting dishes we probably would never have tried. 3 hour duration and 3km walking so wear some comfortable shoes. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic night with Sam. She was a great host, full of interesting information about where we were going and the history of the people running the restaurants. The bikes were a really enjoyable way to tour around and we all felt a sense of freedom with confidence in our drivers.

We were eating in Bun Cha Ta a very good bun cha and found out that Sam does a Food Tour and joined at 6 pm. We had a really good experience with Sam. She showed us the authentic local food stalls around the Old Town of Hoi An (Com Ga, Cau Lau, Bahn Mi, La Lot, Thit Nuong, Egg Coffee, Sesame Soup) which we probably wouldn‘t have tried.

Sam took me to try the typical dishes from Hoi An. It was wonderful and cozy. Learned a lot about food culture in Hoi An / Vietnam and returned to the hostel with a full belly. Don't hesitate, book here!

This was worth every penny, every bite, and every step.Although a person could easily entertain themselves and find wonderful food in Hoi An on their own, having a guide can make a big difference. Having a guide like Sam makes a HUGE difference. Sam was very knowledgeable, very personable and very fun to be with. You could tell she was well-liked by the vendors and she is just an authentically good person. She knows a lot about the food and the history of Hoi An and tourism in general and she made me feel more like I was with a new friend instead of a paid guide. That is a gift. The food was delicious and plentiful. The pace was perfect. And I came away full, happy and better informed. I recommend this tour and Sam highly.

We had a great time on our street food and tried lots of foods we wouldn't have known about otherwise. In total we had 8 dishes and it was very filling! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Hoi An.

We got a evening hoi an street food tour with our guide Sam. Sam was great at explaining the different food we tasted (wich was really good!) and she also knows a lot about the different cultures in Vietnam. She was so sweet, and answered all our questiens. It was a great experience, totally worth it.
