John and George did an excellent job of explaining the history of Nairobi. Appreciated their knowledge and willingness to answer any questions. Loved learning about the culture of the Kenyans. Leisurely walking pace with many stops. It was a very enjoyable tour.
Walked around central Nairobi for two hours with John a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He showed us around the central business district we took in the market, parliament, some government buildings and a park. John also gave us some history about the country and culture.
Everything was ok , I love the tour , Samone is excellent tour guide , show me everything around . Recommended
Great way to explore the city. Our guide (sorry don't remember name) was super cool and very interactive. Highly recommended 💯
This is a 2.5-hour walking tour of the central business district (CBD) in Nairobi. This is not a typical tourist destination. Still, our guide, John, provided interesting narrative on the city history, culture, government, education, religion, and more. We passed by government buildings, the Catholic church, a large mosque, a library, city park, marketplace, and ended at the Kenyatta International Convention Center. The tour included pickup, but getting back to your hotel is up to you. It was an easy 300KES Uber ride back. We enjoyed the tour, and John did an excellent job providing the commentary.
Amazing tour around Nairobi, John is an excellent guide, super respectful, very kind and helpful with any additional information or advise needed. It was great to learn from a local the story of such an interesting city and its people. I 100% recommend it, great knowledge and nice personality.
Excellent Jhon is an extraordinary guy, super kind and attentive. He speaks excellent Spanish, explained very well, patient and super pleasant. The whole Time very respectful.
John was great, very knowledgeable and communicative!
Loved the walking tour! Learned so much about Nairobi’s history and the culture today. My only feedback (which I gave to the tour operator) was related to the end. After the tour, we stopped at the KICC. The tour did not include riding to the top to see an amazing 360 degree views of Nairobi. My young son and I decided we wanted to see the view. Tim, the tour operator had someone walk us to the entrance who then walked us to the elevator. At the time, an employee who we paid to enter, walked us up and explained the views. In a way, I wanted to take it in alone. At the end, he walked us down and asked for a tip.hr asked several times. I didn’t have change and he insisted that he take me to get change. At that time, I felt uncomfortable and said that I was leaving. I travel often and it takes a lot to make me feel uncomfortable. My suggestion is for the tour operator to include this in the tour, have someone go up with us, or warn us. Refuse to let someone show you around and explain the views.
This was a wonderful walking tour, visiting sites, experiencing the city life, learning about the history, culture, city and people of Nairobi and Kenya. John was excellent, made everyone feel safe, comfortable, was friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help, listen and answer questions. I would highly recommend this tour.
