Du vil starte din dag med en afhentning fra dit hotel eller ophold i Nairobi CBD kl. 8.30 af en professionel guide / driver og starte kørslen til Nairobi National Museum. Nairobi National Museum blev grundlagt i 1920 og blev etableret på nuværende sted i 1929. Her lærer du om landets historie, det er mennesker, kultur og kunst. Museet har til formål at fortolke Kenyas rige arv og tilbyder et stop for besøgende at prøve landets rige arv både til uddannelse og fritid. Den er åben på alle 356 dage hele året fra 8:30 til 5:30. Du får også mulighed for at besøge SNAKE PARK for at se de forskellige typer slanger.
Kl. 11:00 går du fra museet og starter kørslen til byens centrum, hvor bilen bliver parkeret, og turen begynder at gå til August Memorial Park. Den 7. august Memorial Park er placeret på 1998 Bomb blast scene langs Haile Selassie Avenue. Det er dedikeret til dem, der har mistet deres liv og indeholder et opslagstavle med deres navne. Det tager 1 time.
Senere kører du til Kenyatta International Conference Centre, der er internationalt kendt sted for konferencer, møder, udstillinger og specielle arrangementer og blandt de højeste bygninger i Nairobi. Du vil gå på rooftop og nyde en fantastisk og eksklusiv udsigt over byen. Det tager en time. Eventuelt kan du blive taget til en restaurant, hvor du kan nyde lækre afrikanske retter. Senere er afsted til dit hotel eller ophold i Nairobi CBD

Today’s Nairobi sightseeing and Maasai Market tour was fantastic from start to finish. Our driver and guide, Steven, was absolutely incredible — knowledgeable, very patient, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. He made navigating the city and the market easy, engaging, and stress-free, while sharing great insights and stories along the way. The Maasai Market was a highlight, and Steven made sure we had time to enjoy it without feeling rushed. Highly recommended — this was a great way to experience Nairobi!

Stephen was a great guide. Our first time here and we got a great feel for Nairobi. The stops were nice and we even bought a few trinkets!

Isaac was the perfect guide. So calm in the inevitable traffic jams, so informative when asked questions. There were just the two of us. We were taken round the National Museum by a very knowledgeable woman. Then the view from the Conference Centre was amazing. We finished at the bombing memorial which we very moving. This is a hugely recommended trip, led by an excellent leader.

As a solo female traveller I took the opportunity to explore Nairobi City with a private guide. Service was prompt and Stephen was profession and enthusiastic and despite the traffic holding us up allowed plenty of time at each venue. I was escorted with a private tour guide at the National Museum, Reptile Park, August 7th Memorial Garden and Beads Factory. Entertaining and informative and a fun way to get an overview of the city! Highly recommended.

This was a great tour through Nairobi. Steven Safari made the trip pleasant, took me to some interesting places where I learned a lot, and enjoyed myself with him. Be ready to go to some historic sites and also some tourist stops were you will almost certainly feel obligated to buy some things to take home.

Did not have high expectations but tour was actually great and interesting. I would leave more than 1 day for Nairobi next time.

As a female solo traveller, I felt very comfortable and safe with the very hospitable Steven who expertly navigated Nairobi’s busy roads to provide me with an unforgettable day tour of the city! The museum was an amazing introduction to traditional Kenyan culture and history. I really enjoyed the 360 degrees views of Nairobi from the top of the Convention Centre where Steven explained the city’s layout and development. We then travelled through the slums to the outskirts of Nairobi to visit an enterprise established to empower and support Masai women who make beads from clay from Mt Nairobi. From here, I enjoyed a traditional Kenyan lunch (lots of vege and a type of beef stew with mashed potatoes- yummy!). This was followed by a tour of another enterprise that helps support Masai (woodworking). Steven expertly navigated the congested roads to safely deliver me back to my hotel. Highly recommend this tour and Steven as a guide.
