If you are visiting the Great Wall, do yourself a favor and book this private tour! Rose was an incredible tour guide from start to finish. She was right on time for pickup, and her suggestion to head out earlier in the morning was spot on and we completely beat the massive crowds. Rose gave us the VIP treatment. She drives you directly to the cable car entrance, you skip the long line for the shuttle buses entirely, saving so much time and hassle. Once we got up to the wall, Rose stayed with us, sharing great insights and acting as our personal photographer. She seriously knows what she’s doing when it comes to taking pictures. We walked away with amazing memories and stunning photos. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Rose!
This was the most amazing experience! Fred was the best guide, photographer, navigator, driver, and everything else! Not only did he help us get tickets to the key attractions and take amazing pics of us on the Great Wall…he also extended our tour by taking us to local shops for one-of-a-kind custom souvenirs to take home. Highly recommend the Jade shop, Tea shop, and Silk shop. Very cool! Would book with Fred again, he was the best!!

We enjoyed our time at Mutianyu- it was very warm and we walked from Tower 6-15, and back. Went w our teen boys and enjoyed the exploring- be prepared for hills and uneven stones. It did start to rain so sadly the slide was closed. Seeing the wall was breathtaking. Beats any photo in the history books. Davis was well spoken in English and helped share historical info. I would recommend booking w the tour guide if you want greater detail about the wall.

Best tour I've done with a fantastic driver Mr Wu. We had an amazing trip. Pick up at 6am was well worth it as we were first in the queue. The queue when we left was unbelievable. Thank you Mr Wu for the day
What a delightful outing. Let me underscore the prudence of arriving early—before the busses. Linda was in impeccable communication during the planning phase and was a calm, certain presence during the trip (which was customized to our particular whims along the way). Her car was comfortable (and I am larger than the average Chinese tourist). Good luck on your trip with Linda.

What an amazing experience! Yeah, 6:00 a.m. pickup is early, but it's more than worth it. We were well ahead of the crowds and were even able to take pictures of ourselves on the Great Wall of China. Fred was our driver and completed the experience. He gave helpful tips, made a nice chat and spoke good English. Everything was perfectly arranged. Highly recommended if you want to experience the Great Wall of China in a quiet way!
Phenomenal day and service with our driver Liu Chao! We took Linda’s advice to leave as early as possible (she recommended 6:30am but we did 7:00 to be able to eat breakfast at our hotel beforehand) and was that ever the right choice. As we reserved at the last minute, Linda wasn’t sure she’d be able to get an English speaking driver and asked if we’d be ok with a Chinese speaking driver and using a translate app. We’ve been doing that the entire trip so said we were ok with it. Turned out to be great. Liu Chao was delightful and it was easy to have very nice conversations with him via translate app. He provided interesting historical commentary on everything from the importance of jade and tea-drinking in Chinese culture to traditional Chinese medicine. The VIP pass allowed us to bypass the shuttle buses to the entrance. We entered about 8:45 in July and it wasn’t crowded then. Opted to walk up. Glorious time on the wall. Able to get amazing photos without too many other people. When we came down about 10:45, the line to get in was huge. Highly recommend this excellent service. It was absolutely the best choice to visit the Great Wall.
