Museum for den store krigs indgangsbillet

Beskrivelse
Hvorfor komme for at besøge museet? Ud over hukommelsespligten præsenterer Museum of the Great War krigen mellem 14 og 18 gennem samlingens genstande og dokumenter.

superb museum. Scan the QR code as you enter and it brings you onto English and French self guided audio tours. Some amazing uniforms from around the world. There is recreation of trench from the time and the line of combat was in this general area so the Germans had gotten close to Paris in early stages of the war. Fascinating museum and well worth a visit for anyone with a degree of interest in military history
A very big and informative museum with hundreds of well preserved artifacts. The trench experience was good but obviously wider than the real thing and no mud! Worth a visit with kids 8 +.
Originally from Meaux, a city near the French capital of Paris, about 50km from it. This is the city where I spent my childhood. If I’m used to writing a long commentary, I’ll be inspired by the motto of Olympique de Marseille football club: "Straight to the point!" Big, beautiful museum! It is a place you should not hesitate to visit, and not just once; I would even say that it is one of the best museums recounting the history of the First World War. Impressive is how the museum is filled with details, and how it plunges us back into the darkest hour of humanity. Children, teenagers, adults of all ages can visit this museum. Don't miss it, for my personal recommendation, there is also a cemetery near Varredes not to be missed, which in my opinion completes the visit of this museum. Remarkable
I recommend this museum which is very attractive and interesting! We learn a lot about history! To do with family or friends.
Remarkable immersive and historical adventure with 2 children 14 and 11 years old. Very successful trenches and museum visit.
We went on weekdays to visit the museum, really great, lots of archives, documentation, objects of all kinds, visit a trench. Exhibition from April 12 to January 4, 2026 of horses and men (we bought the book) really poignant. The battlefield movie an immersive virtual reality experience, a moving movie that feels like it!
After several TV spots about the immersive film, we went to the museum. What a disappointment to learn that it was not possible to watch the film, no information about it on the site. It's lame.
The museum was beautiful! Three hours of visitation was necessary but worth it. This one was very well documented, with many objects, costumes, photos and vintage vehicles. We also went to see the exhibition “horses and men”. It traces the harsh life of these animals during the First World War. She paid a very nice tribute to them. Must visit!🐴😁
I visited this museum on numerous occasions before, and it now has a fascinating and immersive trench experience. The level of detail in the museum is exceptional and there are thousands of artefacts telling every facet of the story of the war.
Initially, they did not play the winner but finally, it was an excellent moment: well-arranged course, well told story it was 3 hours spent without seeing them. To do simply, to remember!
