Multisport Adventure: Trek, Raft, Bike og mere

I added this "bonus" adventure because we still had five days of spring break after our trip to the Galapagos, and I am SO glad we did! I knew I would love the Galapagos, after dreaming about going for 35 years, but falling in love with Ecuador, was an unexpected experience. Once again, the pick up and transfer from the airport to the hotel was seem less. Jorge, our guide was always on time, and ready to go. He took us to wonderful restaurants, recommended local dishes, all of which were delicious, and shared his deep love for his country with us. While hiking at 14,000 feet is challenging, the views of Cotopaxi and other volcanoes was worth it; the biking in Banos was probably one of the most fun things we have ever done as a family and unlike anything we have ever done, and rafting was a PERFECT was to end an epic trip. I fell in love with Ecuador and can't wait to go back, and when we do, we will use Adventure Journeys.

Our trip to Ecuador was perhaps the most wonderful trip we have ever taken. Every day, Pablo & Julio tried with all their heart to show us the most beautiful sides of Ecuador. They were in a good mood and infected us with their good mood. We learned Spanish and a few words of Kichwa in a playful way, saw countless animals, learned a lot about the country, its history and nature and got on wonderfully in the group. We are still very full of all the beautiful impressions and will remember this trip forever.

This was my first time participating in an adventure trip. The entire trip was well-coordinated, our guides did an outstanding job throughout the entire trip. The adventure was extremely fun and exciting. I would highly recommend this adventure trip to anyone.

If you are looking for adventure, challenging yourself like never before, meeting proud and passionate Ecuadorian people, eating delicious dishes and love the outdoors, this is your trip. My colleagues and I had the opportunity to experience it all. Our trip started in Quito, the capital city and continued in the amazing hands of our guides Marco, Paulina and bus driver Armando. Over the next 7 days we got to challenge ourself trekking at 14’000 feet, learning a lot about the Cotopaxi region including its people, culture, fauna and got to experience the best welcoming ceremony performed by Paulina. There are not enough words to express the gratitude towards this unique moment Paulina created for us. Over the next couple days we got to push ourself in participating in multiple sport activities such zip lining in Mindo forest, mountain biking around the Baños region, swimming in the river with many water falls, rappelling up and down water falls, river rafting, crossing a raging river, climbing a 100 meter tall wall, and more. This trip would have not been so successful without the great support and passion for Ecuador from Marco, our main guide. His ability to assess, listen to and act upon the group’s needs was very much appreciated. Marco is truly an outstanding guide with the knowhow needed to keep you interested, curious about his own culture and history, and making you feel welcome and safe. He was there for us 24/7. Armando is the most caring bus driver I have ever met. Our experience would have not been the same without his safe and considerate driving, as well as his always can-do attitude. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Adventure Journeys to anyone seeking thrill, exploring new places and overall having a great time.
