Vores første destination er Fuji-bjerget, det højeste og mest ikoniske bjerg i Japan. Vores mål er at nå det højeste tilgængelige punkt på bjerget. Fra slutningen af foråret til slutningen af efteråret besøger vi typisk den 5. station, der ligger i en højde på 2.300 meter over havets overflade, hvor du kan nyde den storslåede udsigt over Fuji-bjerget. Fra slutningen af november til midten af maj er 5. station dog lukket på grund af sne. I så fald besøger vi et af følgende alternative steder: Mount Fuji World Heritage Center, eller 1., 2. eller 4. Station.
Du kommer til at opleve en unik og lækker frokost i japansk stil på en restaurant i Gotemba City. En vegetarisk mulighed er også tilgængelig.
Efter at have nydt frokost, vil vi gøre et kort stop på et skjult lokalt udsigtspunkt i Fuji-bjerget kaldet Gotemba Heiwa Park (Fredspark). Parken har mange unikke strukturer og monumenter, samt smukke kirsebærtræer. Hvis du er heldig nok til at besøge i kirsebær blomstring sæson, vil du blive forbløffet over de betagende udsigter af rosa blomster sat mod baggrunden af Mount Fuji.
Owakudani betyder bogstaveligt "Great Boiling Valley", og det er en berømt vulkansk dal kendt for sine svovlåbninger og sorte æg, som er æg kogt i varmt kildevand.
Efter at have nydt vores frokost, besøger vi Hakone, et af de mest berømte feriesteder for varme kilder i Japan. Vores første aktivitet i Hakone er en naturskøn himmel-gondoltur. Det er en envejs svævebanetur, der tager os til Owakudani Valley.
Vores sidste aktivitet er et søkrydstogt på et fantastisk piratskib! Lad os nyde en 30-minutters bådtur, der giver en smuk udsigt over søen Ashi, den ikoniske Torii-port, de omkringliggende bjerge og, selvfølgelig, Fuji-bjerget!

On 1st June 2026 my wife and I (visiting from Australia) joined this tour. Hotel pick-up was timely and we were taken to the group gathering point in Shinjuku. Thereafter our local tour guide Yuki accompanied us by coach to the various highlights, the 1st being the 5th station (topmost) on Mt Fuji itself. We were blessed with fine weather throughout and the various stopping points and lunch were all excellent. Yuki was knowledgeable, professional, funny and well organized, her commentary throughout the 10+ hour trip was fascinating. We had JR Rail passes so didn't need the Gray Line shinkensen tickets when the tour party dispersed. For a casual visitor to Japan / Tokyo this tour would not have been possible w/o a car and working knowledge of the Hakone area, so such a full day was excellent value for money.

The pickup at our hotel was extremely convenient because it’s rather early to try to get somewhere else for pickup. We had a slightly late start, but our pickup guide Kyoko was there for us to keep us updated. She was very knowledgeable. The main tour guide, Yuki, was great, but they need to turn up the volume on the PA a little. Yuki kept us on track throughout the day. The driver Ono-san was accommodating and stopped to let us get pics of the peak during a moment of sunshine. Both kids and adults enjoyed the various stops. The bullet train return to Tokyo was a great opportunity to ride one. Would recommend.

Our tour guide, Mikami, was very knowledgeable about all of the places we went and added fun tutorials along the way. She kept everything on time and was extremely helpful in guiding us after the bullet train. Mt Fuji is amazing, Peace Park gorgeous, gondola ride exhilarating, and boat ride relaxing. Amazing day!

Overall a great experience. This tour is best for tourists who would like to visit a variety of landmarks near Mt Fuji and Hakone before dinner time, but there is no brief hiking segment for Mt Fuji . Total trip took around six to seven hours. This guided tour cost about $160 per adult, which seems fair given the tour guide, bus driver, optional lunch meal, and admission tickets to account for. The Mt. Fuji stop may feel slightly short, there is no brief hiking course involved. The optional Japanese-style lunch felt very much like a comforting, home-cooked meal. The Pirate Boat Lake Cruise segment may feel out of place, but Lake Ashi was wonderful and the ship is practically brand new with plenty of observation decks provided for some fantastic views. The tour guide kept people engaged with interesting facts about the landmarks of this tour and Japan in general throughout the bus ride. I strongly recommend reading the details of the tour itinerary to better understand the overall scope of this tour and the depth of each stop. Our tour group had plenty of vacant bus seats, enough for us to sit wherever we wanted. If seeing Mt Fuji is your main priority, try to hold off on booking until you can check the most accurate weather forecast. I’d recommend checking the 24-to-48-hour visibility index or live camera feeds right before you reserve your spot. This tour is not for you if you expect to climb Mt Fuji even for a brief moment.

It was raining when we left Tokyo, so I wasn't expecting much. I told myself that even if we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, I would just enjoy the day trip. The guide was very friendly and shared lots of interesting information during the bus ride, which made the journey enjoyable. To our surprise, the weather improved as we got closer to Mt. Fuji. When we reached the 5th Station, the clouds had cleared and we had an amazing view of the mountain. Seeing Mt. Fuji appear after such a gloomy start made the experience even more special. It turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip to Japan.

A fabulous day out. 8:30am-7pm.. Immaculate coach and informative guide.. Key stops at Mt Fiji, Lunxh, Shizuaka Peace Park, Hanone Goldola and thermals, Lake Cruise and returned to Toyko Station on the Shinkansen (Bullet Train).

Weather was good and the trip was very busy approximately 12 hour's the guide was fantastic very knowledgeable and the bus driver was good too. I would advise you take your own food though as the food we had was OK just.... so all in all a very busy day but well worth it
