Mount Kilimanjaro Day Hike/ Climbing: Bedst bedømte oplevelser

This was totally the best day hike experience. We hiked the better which were high that my expectations and enjoyed so much. The level of professionalism was outstanding. This trip was definitely different If it wasn't pickup the Tanzania Songbirds Safaris and Lameck made the difference for this trip.

Tanzania Songbirds Safaris was amazing and I would highly recommend them for the day hike to Mandara hut. I found the big difference on my entire hike with my tour guide Davi, he's very knowledgeable, passionate for the wildlife and very patient always. Davi took care of my son's, our meals, drinks and more for our safety during the hiking. Overall when we descend Davi took our bags for helping carrying. Our hike with Davi is always smooth and safe. Thank you Davi for making a memorable true experience for my family.

Our experience with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris was everything you hope a trekking company will be, it's very organized, thoughtful, flexible and somehow accepted the changes even though we did a last minute change. We started our journey in Arusha by earlier pickup from our hotel and our driver and guide was very charming and welcoming us, on the way we tough a lot about the country (Tribes culture, history and interesting lifestyle). We arrived at the marangu gate after 3 hours of safe drove. Our guide help us for all registration permit and then we started hiking in the forest zone, we enjoyed everything, from the weather, flora and fauna. Lameck he's get a good spot for small animals this includes birds and recognize the animals sounds. We arrived at the mandara hut and we had a best lunch at the camp, before we started went down we get energy and get a chance to relax a little bit. Lameck he knows we'll the mountain technique and I'm sure with him you will be able to reach the mandara hut. We come back safe from the camp and we found our driver waiting for us at the gate and again 3 and half hours of drive from Marangu to Arusha at our hotel. We left feeling like Tanzania Songbirds Safaris had not just guided us through a trek, but had create our life time memory in a day. Memorable, deeply personal and exactly right for us. I definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed this hiking trip in Kilimanjaro. The pickup was very early in the morning and we came to find the advantage of early pickup because of unexpected traffic, and to get enough time in the mountains, we were also in the comfortable car so we were able to sleep in the car. The area is absolutely stunning and hiking through the forest zone makes this trip so great and really gets appreciated surrounding. The organization of the trip was thoroughly excellent. Our guide Denis was excellent and led us in the mountains by guiding us and showing us different plants and animals in the area. The lunch was great and super that gave us much energy to get down. He made sure we were safe and comfortable always.

Lameck was our guide for mount Kilimanjaro. I had some questions regarding the difficulty level and quickly received clear and very good information in advance before we started the hike. Lameck he's very informative and help me a lot during the hike as sometimes I had a difficult to hike because was a rainy and some path is slippers, but wasn't a reason Lameck to brought me back down, he inspired me and continue take care of me. I had a great time with Lameck, he's very professional and knows mountain by love and he's not do just part of job but he's enjoying. I felt very safety at all and thanks Tanzania Songbirds Safaris and Lameck for this experience. I recommend.

If you want to experience the majestic mount Kilimanjaro and you do not have enough time for a multi-day for summit trek, I cannot recommend this day hike with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris enough. From start to finish the organization was perfect and we'll arrange, but the unique way to make this trip an unforgettable experience is our Guide Jackson. Jackson has an absolute wealth of knowledge about the mountains ecology, history and local flora. As we hiked to the rain forest, it was a bit raining and Jackson made sure we rented some rain jackets at the gate and he always taught us the best way to do it "pole pole" that means slowly slowly. Jackson also made us feel safe, well-cared for. Thanks so much Tanzania Songbirds Safaris and Jackson for this exceptional experience to the roof of Africa and we tasted it at the Mandara camp.

This is one of the best day hikes we had. The team was attentive and helpful, with kindness and patience. Our guide Lameck is very skilled, knowledgeable and patient. He gave us a real taste of Kilimanjaro in just a day, we took a walk in the forest zone where we saw different monkeys In a close distance. Everything was excellent during our visit. I recommend this tour with the Tanzania Songbirds Safaris crew.

The team was very good and helpful. We hiked very well from the gate to the first hut which is the highest elevation we never hiked before. Thanks to the entire team of operators, drivers and guides (Matteo and James). You made this experience unforgettable for my family. It was a great day to hike a mountain. We went with our 14 and 11 year old kids. It’s about a 5-6 hour hiking day so be prepared. The guide Michael was helpful and patient. Absolutely beautiful flora and fauna on the route. Saw lots of monkeys. A bit expensive for what it is. But it’s fun to say you hiked on the tallest mountain in Africa!
