Kom tæt på og personlig med Siciliens mest berømte vulkan på denne seks timers, lille gruppe tur. Afrejse fra Taormina - hotel afhentning og afhentning i nærheden er inkluderet på forespørgsel - og ankomme til Mount Etna, hvor du vil tilbringe dagen gå gennem kratere, udforske en lava grotte, og lære om vulkanens tidligere udbrud på maks. 2000 meter højde. Due to a health condition we were unable to do the hiking part of the trip. However the team provided an alternative of not one but two winery tours that we really enjoyed as well as a visit to a mountain top village and castle. Our diver and guide Diego was fantastic and the office team were very efficient and helpful. We highly recommend booking with this tour company and we have done a lot of activities around the world.
Guide was great, friendly and organized well! He was patient and mad everyone feel welcome. Hike was not hard and the snacks was a nice touch. Had a great day!
A must-do if you’re visiting Sicily. We had an amazing experience exploring Mount Etna! Hiking through the craters and visiting the lava caves were definite highlights, and we really appreciated that hiking boots were provided—it made the experience much more convenient. My only minor critique is that the tour was conducted in both English and French. While I completely understand the need to accommodate both groups, having every explanation repeated in two languages sometimes slowed the pace and meant we had a little less time to explore. That said, our guide did a fantastic job seamlessly switching between both languages, which couldn’t have been easy. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I’d definitely recommend this tour.
Very well organised and our guide was both friendly and very knowledgeable with excellent English. The walking was relatively challenging but we felt very safe - he made sure that we all had the right equipment before we left, and it was a small enough group for him to provide assistance if we needed it. (We saw other groups that seemed too big, and were climbing in poor footwear with small children which did not seem like a good idea). Hotel pick ups and drop offs worked really well and communication was good. In short myself and my 16 year old daughter had a fantastic and memorable trip! Would honestly not recommend for toddlers/younger children - some of the paths are narrow and steep with slopes on either side. And the weather can change very quickly.
Etna people are our kind of people!
We really enjoyed our tour of Mount Etna. Diego was a fantastic guide and provided a lot of knowledge during our hike through the craters and lava tube. The wine tasting at the end was delightful.
Great experience. Pick up was on time. Luca was nothing but superb as a guide and absolutely full of knowledge. If I come back to Sicily I will definitely be doing this again and go higher up.
The trip was well organized, and our guide, Daniel, was awesome! Picking us up from our hotel was so nice, it made the trip so much easier. The lava tubes were really amazing and the walk up to the craters was pretty easy. Only feedback is that the snack needed to be a bit more substantial. And the sesame ‘cookies’ were not sweet—more like a breadstick. After all the walking, we needed a bit more.
A truly amazing day. The guide was a scholar - so knowledgeable about every aspect of Mt Etna, volcanoes, local culture, etc. This was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. Lunch and wine we're also quite good.
We had a brilliant trip to Mt Etna today. Roberto, our guide, was such a passionate, knowledgeable, helpful and kind guide. He is a master of his trade and we were highly impressed by his professionalism and guidance throughout. A tour not to be missed!
