Morgen Daintree Tour med flodkrydstogt fra Port Douglas

Dette er en fantastisk tur for dem, der kun ønsker at tilbringe en halv dag ude eller har kort tid. Vi besøger to områder på denne tur, Daintree River og Mossman Gorge. Vi begynder med en køretur langs Captain Cook Highway, på vej til Daintree River, og deler lidt historie undervejs. Her går vi ombord på et krydstogt langs Daintree-floden og ser ud til det lokale dyreliv, herunder flodmundingen krokodille, slanger, fugle, frøer og mere. Efter Wildlife Cruise nyder vi morgente med Lamingtons og te/kaffe. Når vi først er i Mossman Gorge National Park, gennemfører vi en fortolkende gåtur langs en forhøjet strandpromenade. Afhængigt af vejret kan vi nyde en dukkert i den krystalklare regnskovsstrøm, mens vi er omgivet af den smukke og helbredende Mossman Gorge regnskov. Du går ombord på et krydstogt langs Daintree-floden og ser ud efter alle slags skabninger, inklusive flodmundingen krokodille, slanger, fugle, frøer og mere.
Vi ankommer til Mossman Gorge, som er den sydlige del af Daintree Regnskov. Din guide vil tage dig med på en gåtur og dele deres viden om den lokale flora og fauna og besvare eventuelle spørgsmål, du måtte have. Dette er en let 500m tur retur, mest langs strandpromenaden. Fantastic way to see the Daintree and spot crocodiles. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure you got the most out of the experience. And the morning tea muffins were amazing!

Great tour all around. Our driver Peer was very knowledgeable and thorough. The river tour was all about finding crocodiles then we had coffee and tea. The final part was the national park and a lovely swim near waterfalls.

Picked up at hotel. James was great. Kept us on schedule and provided good information about plants, geology, wildlife. Our Croc experience was exceptional, Chris was knowledgeable and hilarious. Saw juveniles and “Scar Face” up close and personal. He also kept an eye on the weather keeping us out of an incoming squall. This was a 1/2 day trip which, thanks to James and Chris was a wonderful experience of the Daintree.

We had an absolutely fantastic day on the Daintree and Mosman Gorge tour from Port Douglas. Our tour guide was incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable and engaging throughout the entire trip. He taught us so much about the geology and history of the rainforest, crocodiles, Aboriginal culture and the local wildlife. The crocodile river cruise was unforgettable we saw 8 crocodiles ranging from tiny 3-month-old babies to enormous adults over 80 years old. Seeing Scar, who was over 5 metres long, was definitely a highlight! What really made the tour special was the humour and personality of the guides. They brought the whole experience to life with their wit, storytelling and amazing sense of humour while still being informative and professional. The scenery was breathtaking and the whole day was organised brilliantly. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Port Douglas.
