This was so fun and inventive! The game I played was Jane Austen themed, and it was both incredibly silly and very well-rehearsed. The mystery was challenging, but fair and solvable. Highly recommend!
It’s fully interactive, you are the show! Frosty does a great job guiding/facilitating the fun! We enjoyed ourselves and would do it again!
Thank you so much, Maria!
There is really no rhyme or reason to the activity. It is very audience driven. The clue concept does not really make sense. The audience didn't really know what was going. It really didn’t make any sense. Awards were given at the end but even though the audience made the “show” not all main character participants received the paper awards. The props, beard in particular probably not the most sanitary. Let’s just say it was a disappointment.
We're sorry you didn't have a good time, Yvonne! It's true that not everyone receives an award. As I was explaining at the show, you do have to participate to figure out what's happening with the murder, it's an interactive event.
This was such a fun and creative experience! The Murder Mystery Dinner was themed around a haunted storyline set in New Orleans, and everyone at our table got a character to play. My family and I were “Marie Madaline Hachard and the Casket Girls,” and the room was filled with other famous New Orleanians from history. The energy was great — the actors were fantastic, the venue had that perfect mysterious NOLA charm, and to top it all off… we solved the mystery! Turns out, we were the killers. Yes, we won! The only area that could’ve been improved was the “small bites” portion. It wasn’t clear how to get them — some tables had them automatically, while others needed to order separately. Once we figured that out, the night ran smoothly. Aside form this it was a blast — something totally different, interactive, and memorable. It even took us to a part of New Orleans we hadn’t explored before, making the experience feel extra special.
Thank you so much for this review! Y'all were great guests -- thanks for coming! Agreed on the food. We are in the process of implementing dinner tickets as an option, and it's a been a whole process. While we do have food available for order on request, the venue doesn't want us advertising it out to folks until it's set up properly for pre-sale with tickets.
Wonderful experience, highly recommend! Nigel, our British host, was so kind, funny, and ensured a great experience for everyone. We got to take part as characters in the murder mystery, which included fun costumes, character scripts, and actual investigation! The whole experience was engaging and a great time for anyone!
Thank you so much for coming! You were hilarious, cast against type as the villain -- and instantly understanding/taking on the role with gusto! 😄 Folks like you make the shows a lot of fun to host.
Enjoyable to interact as actual characters in the crime scene I think a larger group we ould have great But meet great people
Thanks so much for taking part, and for the great review! Yeah summer can have some slower shows, for sure.
Really enjoyed how interactive the show was. The host was entertaining, engaging and funny. The mystery wasn't as simple as reading the clues asking questions and it's obvious who it was. It took some thought to get the answer and figure it out. Great experience definitely enjoyed.
This was soooo fun! I was Shwarz the Pimp. I enjoyed playing the character and solving the murder. This was so well thought out and the people were so fun too. The crazy part is the murderer could be you and you don’t know. So you have to piece together the various clues and bits of information the other characters know to figure out whodunnit. If you are thinking about doing this experience, just do it. Be prepared to get into character and act like you are an important person in the underground scene of the 1920’s.
Great fun. Small group but still very interactive and enjoyable. Hard mystery to solve but was a blast hearing everyone’s guesses. Props and costumes an added bonus. Host was phenomenal. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
♥ Ah yes the verifiably fun people! 😄 Thanks for being game for doing the event with just your group and a couple others -- it ended up being a really fun night!
We had an amazing time laughing together. Everyone acted their part and the host was very funny. The best part is we figured out the murderer.
