Came in the early morning and there was a lovely cool breeze up in the mountains - not busy at all. Loved the breath taking views from both the church and going up the fenicula (a train that goes up the mountain that has beautiful views - I recommend going on!!) There is a candle display in which you can light your own candle which is so beautiful to see. 🥹 So worth the car ride and would come back again. 😍😍

Arrived on time and the driving was smooth and uneventful . We booked 2 private vans. Booking was easy and as usual . Viator was so helpful and easy to use .

Roberto was very nice, but this was not a private tour. It was supposed to be in English, but unfortunately Roberto did not know very much English. Also, we were dropped off at the skyway station and told to buy a ticket to Montserrat. After paying $411.00 for the "tour", we had to pay our own admission to the different attractions at Montserrat. We did not get anyone explaining the significance or history of any of the attractions. We were merely left there to roam around on our own. While the views at Montserrat are spectacular and the craftmanship and architecture absolutely beautiful and amazing, all we got was a very expensive Uber ride. Would not recommend this tour.
Thank you for your review!! I inform you that the driver has an A level of English. The price only includes transportation with a driver, the advertisement does not include tickets!! The driver is not a guide!!.
It is a very beautiful place! Has we done more research we would have planned this earlier and purchased tickets to get into the chapel and see the statue. We still enjoyed our time and took a short hike while up there and it was good to get out of the city for half a day.

Montserrat is a "must see" and after taking 3 other "small group tours" we decided to make the day our own and take advantage of this one. It was a beautiful day and our driver (Jonathan) was excellent. He made suggestions and even took us to a small village to have lunch afterwards that turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! I would highly recommend this excursion! FYI (I would also recommend that you have the driver take you to the top and then ride the cable car to the bottom. There is a lot of walking up hill involved if you take the cable car up).

We (myself, my 35 year old son and daughter-in-law) chose to do an “on your own” private driver experience and it could not have been better. Our driver Jonathan was attentive and professional. He suggested lunch in a small village and it was perfect! I highly recommend this trip as Monserrat is a “must see”. We were dropped off on top and took the cable car down. Wow! What an experience. Thank you again Jonathan!

Unbelievable views. The sound of the boys choirs was heavenly . Need to Spend a day as there is a lot to see and it's a beautiful place to rest and heal your mind and soul
