Vores specialdesignede, friluftskøretøjer lader passagererne få smag for firehjulstræk på de røde klipper. Dem, der ønsker at vippe dækkene og stige med adrenalin-klippekanten, behøver ikke at ansøge om denne tur! Det ekstreme er synspunkterne, ikke selve turen. Vores ruter krydser gennem smuldrende kløfter, tyngdekraft-trodsende hoodoos, skjulte buer og dyrebare helleristninger. Ind imellem stop for at tage billeder og udforske stederne, vil din guide give forklaringer på Moabs vanvittige geologi og dramafyldte historie. Moabs surrealistiske landskaber er en off-roading utopi. Med skrånende avenuer af slickrock og terracotta er det en overraskende kort pendling at komme til Mars' bagland på Jorden. Selvom vi ikke har noget imod en god gammeldags vandretur gennem ørkenen, kan det at tage en naturskøn jeep-tur være en meget mere effektiv og behagelig måde at nå områdets signatursteder på.

Mød os på vores Moab-kontor, hvor din guide vil vente med en tilpasset Jeep Gladiator klar til at tage dig ud på stierne. Afhængigt af hvilket område vi vil udforske den dag, kan vi køre gennem byen og langs motorvejen, indtil vi når stihovedet. Derfra vil vi bruge omkring 3 timer på at krydse gennem røde klippekløfter, med masser af muligheder for at komme ud og tjekke stederne. Nogle stier er mere ujævne end andre, men vi vælger typisk en mere jævn rute til morgenturen i forhold til eftermiddagsturene. Disse ture er fantastiske for alle aldre og er meget mere rettet mod steder, landskaber og dybdegående fortolkninger frem for ekstrem spænding. Din guide vil dele mere viden om området, end du ved, hvad du skal gøre med! Forvent at høre om Moabs skøre geologi, vilde historie og gamle oprindelige kulturer. Du vil vende tilbage med en større forståelse af, hvor utrolige og unikke Moabs omgivende landskaber virkelig er.

We had a ball on our jeep tour. Darren was so knowledgeable and personable. He was patient with our questions and put up with our jokes. We enjoyed his company so much we requested him for our Arches tour the next day. I would definitely use Mild to Wild again.

What a fantastic adventure!! We chose the mild morning jeep tour. . Devon was our driver and guide. She made us aware of staying safe and hydrated during our trip. Once we were on our way she made our trip adventurous, informative and most of all…. Fun. The jeep ride is an adventure in itself, up and down trails, open air, and a little bumpy at times…we loved it! Devon’s love of these mountains shows in her enthusiasm to share her knowledge. I recommend this trip and ask for Devon. We are so happy we chose this company. We felt safe and what a way to really see the majesty of Moab.

Our guide Devon was excellent! We wanted to experience a Jeep ride in Moab but kept it on the mild trail to the Wind Rock (which was wild enough for us!) We learned a lot of information from her along the way. I would recommend this half day trip for the experience and the views! Our family enjoyed it. (I suggest you wear a hat that has a chin strap, so it doesn't fly away!) Thank you, Devon, for your informative tour!

It lasts 4 hours and bring bandana to cover mouth and nose from dust. Our guide Brianna was great. Beautiful scenery but rough road in spots.
