Vi stopper i den smukke bydel Te Anau for en forlænget pause på 30 minutter. Vi stopper ved et café ved søen, så du kan få en kaffe / snack, bruge badeværelset og udforske den fantastiske sø med udsigt over bjergene.
Eglinton Valley tilbyder en fantastisk kontrast af grønne, indfødte bjerge dækket af buske, mod forgrunden af brune felter. Gæsterne vil have mulighed for at udforske de lange frodige marker. Smukke til enhver tid af året.
Denne korte 2-minutters naturvandring på velformede stier og vandrestier vil have dig på de rolige Mirror Lakes, baggrunden for Earl Mountains bag dem. Dette er en udfordring for enhver rejsende fotograf at fange essensen af søerne - deres spejl refleksion.
Vi stopper længere i Eglinton Valley ved Knobs Flat Camp for at bruge badeværelserne. Dette stop er omkring 60 minutter fra Te Anau, vores tidligere badeværelse pause.
Vi stopper ved Hollywood Lookout, sidder højt over Hollyford Valley. Her vil du få en bedømmelse for gletsjere, der udskårne disse dale. En fotografisk mulighed og en chance for at strække benene.
Monkey Creek er en smuk gletscher fodret vandfald / strøm og er et fælles område for at møde Kea, en bjergpapegøje, der kun findes på Sydøen i New Zealand. Dette er en mulighed for at tage et nærbillede af disse fræk fugle.
Vi stopper lige udenfor Homer Tunnel på den vestlige side, med udsigt over den storslåede Cleddau Valley. Omgivet af trin lodrette bjergflader, vil du se ned ad dalen til vores rute ind i Milford Sound. En af dagens højdepunkter.
Vores destination for turen er den smukke Milford Sound, en UNESCO World Heritage Site. Vi tilbringer 2,5 timer i Milford Sound, for det meste om bord på din naturkrydstogt, hvor du vil opleve hele fjorden, vildtlevende møder, vandfald og al den naturskønne skønhed der er at se.
Vi vender tilbage til Queenstown, via landsbyen Te Anau (den eneste vej tilbage) og stopper, så du kan hente noget mad til middag og bruge badeværelset.

Our family trip to Milford Sound was truly one of the most memorable experiences of our New Zealand holiday. From the moment Tommy picked us up until he dropped us back at the end of the day, everything was absolutely first class. Tommy from Luxe was exceptional. His knowledge of the region was incredible, and he shared so many fascinating facts and stories throughout the journey that we felt like we experienced so much more than just the destination. He was patient, kind, professional, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone had the best possible day. The little stops along the way made all the difference. Tommy knew exactly where to pull over for the most spectacular views and photo opportunities, and he even took some beautiful family photos for us. We were also lucky enough to see the cheeky kea birds in action, which was such a highlight! Milford Sound itself is simply breathtaking, but having someone like Tommy guiding the journey made the experience even more special. His customer service was second to none, and it was obvious that he genuinely cared about giving everyone an unforgettable day. Tommy was our tour guide on our first-ever trip with Luxe Tours from Queenstown to Milford Sound, and he made the whole experience unforgettable. The tour was absolutely worth the cost, and we’d love to do it again in the future. Tommy was friendly, approachable, and made the day feel relaxed from start to finish. Although it was a long day, we never felt bored or exhausted - it has been one of my highlight trips of all time. Tommy took heaps of photos for our group, shared great knowledge and stories about Milford Sound and the stops along the way, and even gave us some awesome local recommendations for our return back to Queenstown. The bus was super comfortable with plenty of leg room, and we appreciated being able to relax and even get some sleep on the drive back to Queenstown. One of the best parts was the small group size — only six people — which made the experience feel much more personal compared to the larger tour buses around. having less people compared to a tour buses meant the entire experience was very comfortable (we had time to truly enjoy each site and take photos without being rushed etc). the whole day just felt comfortablr and well organised. the guide tommy was also very friendly and his commentary about the sites etc the entire day while driving was genuinely so interesting and informative. would highly recommend

We recently did this tour from Queenstown to Milford Sound and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The scenery was incredible, but the real highlight of the trip was our tour guide, Adrian. Adrian, was friendly, highly informative, funny, and just an all-round legend. He made the whole journey enjoyable from start to finish and really added so much to the experience with his knowledge and personality. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. The smaller sized group made it possible to stop at different locations along the way which made it much more personal. We highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.

OMG! Where do I start? First of all to apologise it’s taken me so long to write a review - certainly not because the service wasn’t amazing!! I cannot praise and thank Adrian enough. There is nothing I can write to describe how amazing our trip to Milford sound really was; one of the best days and our favourite part of our trip to NZ. And that was all thanks to Adrian. We couldn’t have been luckier to have such a lovely, kind, thoughtful, funny, entertaining and truly wonderful guide. Adrian went above and beyond for us - with the entertaining and informative info and stories he had, the way he checked in with us to see if we were enjoying ourselves or if we needed anything, the way he never once complained about being asked to take a thousand photos for me, and the way he just made our tour absolutely amazing. It snowed on our trip and I have to praise him also for his careful and responsible driving - we felt extremely safe with him. It was such a long day, but we didn’t want it to end and would have been very happy to stay on the bus for longer 😊 Honestly, this day made our NZ trip amazing. I’m so happy I chose to go with Luxe tours. I loved the way they seemed to genuinely care about the place and their customers, and I was so right!
