Angela's knowledge and passion allowed us to learn so much about David and other arts in the Galleria. She managed to maneuver her group through the crowds gracefully. Thank you! We truly enjoyed our time and learning.

Our tour guide Giovanna was one of the best guides I have ever had for a museum tour anywhere. Even though the Galleria dell'Accademia is not one of the larger museums, of the course of a 1+ hour tour, Giovanna was able to share a wealth of knowledge with everyone in the group, sprinking bits of humor and an infectious enthusiasm for the art throughout. She thoroughly answered all questions that we had and made sure to tailor the tour to the group's interests. She constantly checked in on how all of us were doing, and we never felt rushed or pressed for time. It's very helpful that you're given an earpiece with adjustable volume so that you're able to hear Giovanna with clarity despite the crowds and noise of the galleries. Would definitely recommend. For barely more than the cost of admission to the Galleria itself, it's a no-brainer to choose the tour.
The most disappointing: first - waiting for a guide, never found whoever was leading it… contacting a company over phone - only voicemail. The only reliable communication - through their own app - got us only AI based response. Eventually a human responded after a half an hour - too late for anything. Why, why we need to load a ln app for one tour?! And if we filled in EVERYTHING - including phone number, email, etc - why no one can check before leaving? Company offered me rebook THE SAME TOUR 5 days after: is this a joke?! And pay another 25 for it?!! It was a rare occasion when I actually was supposed to be in a city a week later. I reached out asking if this money can be applied to another tour they had exactly at the time I was in anther museum - flat no. Poor customer service, super disappointing.

We would like to clarify that our tour app sends reminders several days before the tour, the day before, and again on the day of the tour, providing guests with the meeting point, directions, check-in instructions, and all the information needed to join the tour smoothly. Based on the details provided in your review, we have been unable to identify a matching booking with us. Our email response time is up to 48 hours, not 5 days, and our customer service phone lines are answered by our team during operating hours. Voicemail is only available outside of these hours, and while tours are running, we remain available via phone, live chat, and WhatsApp to assist guests. Unfortunately, due to the venues' strict timed-entry system, we are unable to delay departures or wait for late arrivals, as once the scheduled entry time has passed, the tickets become invalid. Delaying the tour would also negatively impact the other guests who have arrived on time. As a gesture of goodwill, we do offer guests who miss their tour the opportunity to reschedule, subject to availability and payment of a rebooking fee to cover the cost of the original non-refundable tickets. If you believe this review relates to one of our tours, we would appreciate it if you could contact us directly with your booking reference so we can investigate your experience further.
To see Michalangelo’s David, and also some of his other works (the Prisoners) was super cool. Our guide was very knowledgeable about The David and pointed out some interesting things we didn’t know.
It was so easy to reserve the tour and meet up before going into the Accademia. The guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The tour itself was about an hour which was perfect and we could stay longer to further explore that sculptures and paintings. What I really liked is how City Wonders tours were so organized, professional, and made things so easy.
Great tour for my family. I loved our guide Patrizia. She did an amazing job of walking us through the gallery and walking around Michelangelo's David and examining it from four different angles With the discussion of the piece and how it related to Michelangelo and the time period Itself. I learned a lot in this focused tour. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially with the young kids who have a hard time with prolonged tours.
Great tour guide but very busy
Our tour guide Valentina got us tight to the front of the line and we went right in she was interactive and very knowledge able. I would highly recommend.
Pick up a bit confusing as guides were under a tree and not at statue. Tour guide was excellent and made the experience enjoyable and informative. Entry was very quick and no stress
